Good morning stampers and crafters!  Welcome to another session of our Stamp It Group Blog Hop.  I am really excited to share the creation I made for our Thanksgiving themed hop with you.  You may have hopped over here from Siara's gorgeous share; or if you have made my blog your first stop....Thank You so much!  I live to inspire and love to share.  So, let's get to the deets of my card.

I have been aching to use the Vintage Leaves stamp set from the Annual catalog (page 88), coordinating Leaflets Framelits and the Woodland Embossing Folder all in one creation.  **squeal**

Creative Tips:

• Many of you may know this about me already...my favorite style of crafting is the rustic and vintage style. If you look close enough at the Delightful Dijon layer that has been dry embossed with the Woodlands embossing folder, you'll see that I lightly stamped the Dots for Days background stamp using Soft Suede ink.

• The Vintage Leaves stamp set is filled with lots of variety of tree leaves that were inked with a variety of fall colors...Delightful Dijon, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, and Tangelo Tango. To give them a realistic Fall appearance, I crumpled them and used Stampin' Up!'s Fine-tipped Liquid glue to set onto the distressed Very Vanilla layer.

• Thanksgiving is a season of "thanks", so it goes without saying that I use the 'thanks' die from the Greetings Thinlits. I die cut 3 of them from Early Espresso and 1 from Tangelo Twist and used the Fine-tip Liquid glue to layer them...giving the sentiment some dimension without using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I am so happy with the end result of this card and hope that you will try stamping, die-cutting and crumpling some leaves to add to a card, a tag, or add to some home decor. Hello everyone!  It's the 20th of the month and you know what that means, right?!!  I want to welcome you to another inspiration-filled Creative Inking Blog Hop! I am sooo excited and honored to be a member of this wonderful group of Creative Inking stampers.  The team members in this group have been working hard to create adorable, fun and inspiring projects for you.  You are definitely going to enjoy this hop...if you haven't started your Christmas cards...hold onto your sleigh...you are in for a ride!

Can you believe that we only have 9 more weeks before we hop right into the Christmas holiday?!!  YIKES!! Our crafting theme for October is Christmas Joy.  I wasn't sure that I was ready to create a Christmas-type card, but once the announcement came out that ALL Stampin' Up! stamp sets are on sale (15% off of all stamps purchased), well then....the rest is history.  I'm sure the stamp set I used (Cozy Christmas, page 9 in the Holiday catalog) will make it into your next shopping cart.  haha

Creative Tips:

• What do you look for to inspire your creative side?  I found my inspiration for this card from a tag found on Page 8 in the Holiday catalog.  Yep!  That simple little tag, which led me to the challenge that I should create a "Clean and Simple" (CAS) card.  For those that know me very well, CAS is definitely not an easy task for me.

• After playing with the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper pack, I am totally in love with it!  My favorite designs in the pack (you get 12 different designs, 2 sheets of each) are the Santa's and Reindeer's...they are so stinkin' cute!  These nostalgic cottages really set the tone for the sentiment that comes from the Cozy Christmas stamp set.

• The Very Vanilla 1-1/4" Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon is lovely, and compliments the Mossy Meadows card stock strip by breaking up the full panel of patterned paper.

Good Morning Stampers!

I am so excited to have you join me for the October series of the One Stamp At a Time Blog Hop (aka OSAT).  As much as I hate to see the days get shorter and the temperatures creep lower, the Fall season is my favorite time of the year.

I was originally planning to create and share a card and project focusing on the Fall season, but my plans changed a Halloween themed ensemble because of a new video released by Stampin' Up! using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits.  Let's take a look.

Creative Tips:

• Sponging the edges of the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper (Tangelo Twist striped pattern) with Soft Suede and one of our Stampin' Sponges is wonderful for when you want to tone down the brightness or to add a little vintage.

• I love the little pumpkin from the Howl-o-ween Treats stamp set (inked in Tangelo Twist)...especially when Stampin' Up! creates the images to coordinate with a matching framelit from the Boo To You Framelits set.

• The new Spider Web Doilies are very versatile and allow you to get lots of mileage with one doily.  The accent to the "Trick or Treat" sentiment is the center of one Spider Web Doily.  I liked the solidness of that part of the doily.

• The front of the card needed another color, so I took some of the Happy Haunting Washi Tape (Rich Razzleberry) and covered a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Adding this strip really compliments the card and shows off the card base for vintage elegance.

When your card base is a dark color (like Rich Razzleberry), it is always extra special (and needed) to decorate the inside of the card with the lighter tones.  This is so you can actually see the words written to your recipient.  Hahaha!

No Trick or Treat card is complete without the 'treat', right?!!  Stampin' Up! just came out with a little video sharing the 'how to' tutorial related to the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies.  You end up with a mini-mini treat bag!  **squeal**  Super cute and oh, so easy to do.  Here is the free video tutorial.
