I love Stampin' Up!'s large variety of adhesives to accommodate any particular paper crafting project. Every free moment I have, I am busy preparing for stamp class, creating treat packages for craft fairs, or making beautiful cards for all occasions. So, what does that mean? It means that I go through A LOT of adhesives...dry adhesives like Stampin' Dimensionals and Fast Fuse, and liquid adhesives like the Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Today is Leap Year!! February 29th...which is an extra day in our calendar year, so why not celebrate it with an Adhesive Bulk Buy !! Do you NEED adhesives?? Let's stick together...buy large quantities and I'll pay for the shipping! YEAH!! If you are interested in my Leap Year Adhesive Bulk Buy Offer with FREE shipping, please provide the following details in your email request:

Here are some neat facts about our Snail and Fast Fuse
I did the math! The Fast Fuse dispenser comes with 13.1 yards (just like the SNAIL does) for $10.00 as opposed to $7.00 for SNAIL. For the refills, you get 21.9 yards of Fast Fuse for $7.50; and 13.1 yards of SNAIL for $4.50. Also, the Tear & Tape Adhesive, which is superb for hard-to-stick things like buttons, ribbon, metal pieces, and for assembling boxes and such, is a tad more expensive...27 yards for $7.00, but I find myself using less of it with a lot more success for those applications.
Bottom line:
FAST FUSE REFILL = $.1141 per foot
SNAIL REFILL = $.1145 per foot
STICKY STRIP = $.26 per foot
Here is a really good video on how to use Fast Fuse. Remember, it's all about the 'check' at the end.
Welcome, stampers and crafters, to February's edition of the Stamp It Blog Hop. I am really happy that you have stopped in to see what I have ready to share with you. This month, the Stamp It participants have been busy creating and focusing on the next holiday...Easter, which is just around the corner. YIKES!! So, with that said, you may have started the hop here first, or you may have come from the blog prior to mine noted on the list below.
Okay, before we get to my share, let me just say that I have been on a huge watercoloring kick. It's all the rage in the papercrafting scene, and I've been bitten by the watercoloring bug. That's a good thing because I have had lots of fun! I do not have much in the way of Easter stamps, so I was super excited when I saw one of the sentiments in the Suite Sayings stamp set referencing Easter. WoooHoooo! This set is in the Occasions catalog on page 41...LOVE all 10 sentiments in that set. You must put this set at the top of your Wish List.
Isn't this card super cute?!! Let me tell you...this may look like it's 'out of your league', but it is AH-mazingly easy. Hang tight with me and I'll show you just how simple this version of watercoloring is:
Creative Tips:
The card base is a half sheet of Crumb Cake cardstock (4-1/4" x 11") scored at 5-1/2".
I love Stampin' Up's 140 lb. weight Watercolor Paper because it can withstand a large dose of spritzing, misting, and soaking of water. You do have to be careful with warping as it dries, but if you use your Heat tool on the low setting, it will be just fine.
The Easter Egg shape comes from using one of the Oval Framelits. I die cut a scrap piece of paper (well, some of my junk mail, to be honest...hahaha). I positioned the 'negative' (the piece with the oval hole) over the 5" x 3-1/2" piece of watercolor paper and held it in place with some washi tape around the outside edges to my work surface. It's important that nothing moves during this step.
I used daubers for each of the 4 colors (Hello Honey, Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron, and Pool Party) and lightly sponged ink randomly in spots within the oval shape. Make sure that you swirl ink up to the edges of the oval, too, so that you get a definite image edge. When you have it looking the way you want, take the distressed grid image from Timeless Texture and ink it up with Crumb Cake. Stamp off onto a scrap piece of paper and then do a 2nd stamping over top all of the sponged area.
You can remove the Oval framelit frame for this next step. Take your Aqua Painter (with water in the barrel) and squeeze so that the brush is filling with water. I took my finger to "flick" the water over top the ink-sponged area to create little 'speckles' of water. Keep doing this until you get the amount of speckles you like. Click on picture to see a close up. The photo here doesn't show it, but I decided to run my Aqua Painter along the edges of the oval to soften and give a vintage-y look. Be careful not to squeeze water into the brush...I just used the dampness that the brush already naturally had from the 'flicking' step.
To finish off the card, I inked the sentiment with Early Espresso and stamped into place using my Stamp-a-ma-jig. To separate the Watercolor panel from the cardbase, I added strips of Mint Macaron and Watermelon Wonder cardstock to each side of the main panel. The yummy Watermelon Wonder 1" Stitched Satin Ribbon adds some vibrant 'spring-y' color and texture. Clear Wink of Stella was colored onto the Itty Bitty Accents Flower punches (Hello Honey, Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron) for a slight glimmer of bling.
Pretty, pretty, pretty!! and, so stinkin' easy! I hope you will give this a try. NOTE: You can use any die cut as your 'frame' to sponge and mist. There are several punches and framelits available in the Stampin' Up! catalog that would work...Scallop Circle punch, Fun Flower punch, Flower Medallion (which is on sale in the Weekly Deals--YEAH!), Bold Butterfly Framelits, Floral Frames Collection Framelits, Stars Framelits, etc. The ideas are endless.
Now, onto some FUN opportunities...check out the details noted below and be sure to hop on over to the next participant on the list. I won't be very far behind you because I want to gather some ideas myself. ;)

Welcome to the Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop for February 2016. I am SUPER excited for this trip...a once in a lifetime for me and my hubby, and what better way to celebrate our 25th wedding Anniversary than a trip hosted by Stampin' Up! My airline travel is booked and a few excursions are booked, just need to decide on a couple more things and we are all set! Only about 80+ days before we head out. Eeeek!
The theme for the hop this month is "One For The Guys" and we are excited to share some projects using any Stampin' Up! products that demonstrate that 'manly' feel and appearance! This can be a tough one, at times, but I think I pulled it off.
You may be starting from here at my blog, Lori Mueller - Stampin' Dreams, or you may have come here from the previous person to me on the list. Please be sure to click the person after me to move along the blog hop. If you get off track at any time, the full line up below will help you move along from blog to blog. So, here is my One For The Guys card share that I whipped up. Literally! I really amazed myself because I never just 'whip' out a card. haha I needed something quick and easy for a friend of mine; and the papers and Suite Sayings stamp set worked for the theme for this hop. YIPPEE!!
Creative Tips:
The color choices all stem from the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper. Yep!! I'm using a paper pack that has LOTS of flower images, but there are some non-flower images on the reverse sides of each double-sided sheet. YEAH!! So, I started with a Lost Lagoon card base that measure 6-5/8" x 5-1/2" and scored one end at 2-3/8". It looks like a traditional cardbase that has been shorted. haha
To build out my card and give it a sense of a 'full' card, I cut a piece of Hello Honey cardstock as the matte to the multi-colored chevron patterned designer paper. I used Fast Fuse to adhere the left part of the panel to the short end of the card base. Be careful not to forget that you don't need adhesive on all of the panel back...it's a habit! Ask me how I know to leave you with that tip! ;)
One of my favorite sentiment stamp sets in the Occasions catalog is the Suite Sayings stamp set (page 41). LOVE it!! To draw attention to the primary colors that I was using, I pulled out my Hello Honey and Lost Lagoon Stampin' Write markers and hand-colored the words before stamping onto a strip of Whisper White cardstock that measures 1" x 4". I used Fast Fuse to adhere to a piece of Old Olive cardstock that I banner cut. The banner was popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.
So as not to steal away from the Clean And Simple look, I added a couple of White Perfect Accents. I think it was the 'perfect' added touch....One For The Guys, don't you think?!
Have I told you that I have difficulty coming up with a Clean And Simple card?? Well, I do! It's one of my biggest struggles, but am pretty darned proud of this quick accomplishment. :) Thanks for taking part in our blog hop. With so many amazing ideas and inspiration "for the guys' in your life, you won't want to miss checking out all of the blogs...over 30 to check in at! **squeal** Remember you are currently at (Lori Mueller's -- Stampin' Dreams blog), so please check the blog hop line up below and be sure to click the next blog participant's name on the list.
Welcome to the Creative Inking Blog Hop for February 2016! It's a beautiful Spring day in Nebraska, which helps the creative juices flow during a bright sunny day. The theme for the hop this month is the Easter Bunny...with Easter coming up quick, we had to get on the ball to showcase some super cute projects that will definitely inspire you.
You may be starting from here at my blog, Lori Mueller - Stampin' Dreams, or you may have come here from the talented Lisa Curcio's blog. Please be sure to click the 'Next' button to move along the blog hop. If you get off track at any time, the full line up below will help you move along from blog to blog. So, here is my Easter card share that does not involve any bunnies, but a spiritual sense of the occasion.
Easter is one of my favorite holidays to attend at church. The special message of the sermon, the chosen hymns, the mix of the choir and trumpets....all of it together generates a special energy and love for my dear Lord and Savior. So, my card is a reflection of what I see and feel during Easter.
Creative Tips:
Starting with the Perfect Plum card base measuring 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" with the fold at the top, I topped it off with a 5-1/4" x 4" So Saffron layer. To add a little character and accent between the watercolor paper and So Saffron layers, I added a strip of Typeset Designer Series paper to the top of the So Saffron layer.
The main panel....the Watercolor paper layer was saturated with the Stampin' Mist filled with water. I took my Aqua Painter and watercolored Perfect Plum, Wild Wasabi, and So Saffron across sections of the paper. When I felt there was enough color added, I used my Heat Tool on the low setting to help dry the panel faster. Next, I took the circle image from the Project Life Memories in the Making stamp set and 'inked' it using a paper towel that was soaked with bleach. The little bit of bleach on the stamp bleached the image onto the watercolored paper adding more character and a slight distressed look.
A random section of the Striped Scallop Thinlits die was cut from Shimmer White cardstock and stuck to the watercolor paper, and topped with a Vellum cardstock banner stamped and gold heat embossed "Happy" "Easter" images from the Crazy About You stamp set.
The final touches include the cross from the Blessed by God stamp set inked in Early Espresso ink and stamped onto a piece of Shimmer White cardstock and popped up with dimensionals over top the fern leaf dies from the Botanical Builder Framelits and some Gold Metallic Thread.
Now, you will want to hop on over to Dena's blog...I know she will have something stinkin' cute to share with you. Just click on the 'Next' button and you'll be hoppin'. If you get lost or sidetracked, just come on back and follow the list of participants shown below. Have fun getting your fill of wonderful inspiration...don't forget to come back real soon. :)
I hope you enjoyed my card share and that you will try this very easy watercolor and bleaching technique yourself. Please holler if you have any questions. I love and appreciate your comments.

Sky is The Limit (this set has been EXTREMELY popular this year)
Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper
Hello
So, if you have been sitting on the fence wondering if you really need this stamp set, here is a little inspiration to tempt you. I created this card for a group of ladies that I swapped with, but I loved it so much that I used it for one of my stamping card classes, too. It was a HUGE hit!!
Creative Tips:
Melon Mambo cardstock and a pattern of Designer Series paper from the It' My Party paper stack really pop on the Basic Black cardstock card base. I wanted something fun and spunky, so I offset them to be 'kitty-wompass' instead of a straight on matte layer. Before adhering these layers to the cardbase, I took both colors of the Baker's Twine Combon (page 6, Occasions) and wrapped it around the layers and tied a bow to one side. This just solidified the color combinations and added a little extra touch of character.
The focal point uses the 'hello' image from the Limited Time "Hello" stamp set (page 19 in the Sale-A-Bration brochure). I inked it with Versa Mark, stamped it onto Mint Macaron cardstock, and heat embossed with Basic Black embossing powder. The little party hat, from the same stamp set, was inked in Melon Mambo and stamped just above the letter 'e'. I stamped it again on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock, cut it out and popped it up over top of the image. I did this because I love dimension; and it added a little character. Then, I cut it out using one of my Circles framelits, added dimensionals and set in place.
I had a scrap strip of Melon Mambo setting on my table and stamped the 'birthday girl' image onto it with Archival Basic Black ink. I seem to always go for a 'banner cut' end, so I decided to just cut the ends at an angle instead. Again, I added dimensionals and set into place.
And, there you have it! A super cute...super easy card that can fit the bill for an adult or teen or young child. I love versatility!!
You don't have much time left to place your orders and grab this set for FREE....please don't miss out! It is never fun to "wish" for something after it is no longer available. One $50 order through my online store and you can get this "Hello" stamp set for FREE.

This month's theme is called "Love Is In The Air", which can mean a couple of things....wedding, anniversary...or, the most common, Valentine's Day. It's hard to believe that this holiday that has a love/hate relationship with people is just around the corner. What plans do you have on Sunday, February 14th? Well, I did venture my crafty shares towards the Valentine holiday...puleeeeeze don't hate me! I think you will be pleasantly surprised that my creations can be used for a wedding, anniversary, or for that 'anytime' occasion. Let's take a peek.
See, it's not all lovey-dovey. It can be given to any loved one during anytime of the year. :) Now, let's see how I created it:
Creative Tips:
The focal panel is Watercolor Paper layered onto a piece of Mint Macaron. I used the Project Life stamp set called Memories in the Making. I inked the swirly circles in Versa Mark and Clear Embossed so that when I watercolored using Rose Red ink, it would hold (be translucent) the color of the Watercolor paper. If I had used White embossing powder, I think it would have been too bright for the overall tone of my card, don't you think?
The Watercolor Technique....I layed the watercolor paper on a paper towel and heavily misted it with water using my Stampin' Spritzer. I had already put a drop of reinker in the lid of my Rose Red ink pad because I then took my Aqua Painter and lifted a 'little' amount of the reinker and touched it to the puddles of water setting on the paper. I say to start with a 'little' amount of ink because you can always add more, but you can't take away. When I felt like I had enough color on the paper, I let it set to dry. NOTE: do not use a papertowel to blot up the excess water. By doing so, you will also soak up the ink that is mixed with the water. If you forget and use the paper towel, you will want to start over (spritzing, adding ink, letting it set to dry completely).
We all know how much I love dimension, so I pulled out the heart die strip from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits dies and layered a strip of Rose Red cardstock with a scrap piece of Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper from the Occasions catalog.
A Very Vanilla Heart punch is layered with the Rose Red 'xoxo' die from the Circle Card Thinlits set with strips of White 1-1/4" Jute Ribbon. The ensemble was popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals and set into place. A few Blushing Bride sequences were scattered on the card to help balance out the look.
Not sure if you can tell by the picture (click on it to enlarge), but I used Wink of Stella on the 'xoxo'. It was hard to get a good picture of that, but in real life, it is uber sparkly. LOVE that stuff!
NOTE: You'll want to use the Stampin' Heat Tool to help dry the large amount of water that was spritzed onto the watercolor paper. Use the low heat setting...you don't want to rush it. Also, it won't make your Watercolor Paper bow/warp as much.
My 3D item is a cute Rose Red Baker's Box using the Baker's Box Thinlits die.I dressed it up with pieces of Love Blossom Designer Series paper stack found in the Occasions catalog. To polish off this creation, I dressed up the handle with a tag similar to the embellishments on the card...tying it all together with the colors and papers used on the front of the card.
Use Hostess Code WM2AEEMS to get a FREE GIFT from me when you order $50 or more.
STAMPIN' REWARDS: Orders over $150 receive $15+ additional free product (you do not want to use the Hostess Code noted above...this is so YOU receive the Hostess benefits).
