OSAT Blog Hop Plays Tic Tac Toe
April 14, 2016
Hello crafty stampers! Welcome to the One Stamp At a Time (OSAT) Design Team Blog Hop! There are 20 of us from around the States who will be sharing our handmade projects with you this month. In order to view all of the blog participants sharing their wonderful craftiness is click on the link at the bottom of each post.
For this month's blog hop, we are focusing our projects on a fun game that you probably started playing as a youngster...Tic Tac Toe! This is a special edition of the game in the idea that instead of putting X's and O's in the spot, the spots are already noted with an embellishment. We, as the crafter, had to select a row, column, or diagonal to feature in our creations. My plan was to use the 2nd column Twine / Dies / Glitter, but while taking pictures of my projects, I realized that I also hit the items shown in the bottom row...Ribbon / Glitter / Dots.
How fun is this card?!! I can't seem to get enough of the whole Botanical Gardens collection available in the Occasions catalog. The best part is that all of it is available as a bundle so you will save 15% on the purchase. YEAH!! The collection includes the Botanical Blooms stamp set, Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper, and the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies....page 26 in the Occasions catalog.
Creative Tips:
- The card base is a half sheet of Whisper White cardstock (5-1/2" x 8-1/2") scored at 4-1/4".
- I
I decided to make my project follow the same appearance as the card so that it would appear as a gift ensemble. I found these sticky note calendars in the $1.50 bin at another craft store, which worked out perfect. The cover is Mint Macaron cardstock that measures 8-1/2" x 4", then scored at 4-1/8" and 4-3/8".
So, what do you think? Pretty cute, huh?!! At this time, you are now ready to hop on over to Sara Levin’s blog. You won't want to miss traveling on as I know that she will have something super cute to share with you. If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can jump back to Marisa Gunn’s blog. Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing!
