Good morning stampers and paper crafters! Welcome to my stop on the One Stamp At a Time (OSAT) Design Team Blog Hop for the month of February! This months theme is based on "Don't Go Breaking My Heart". Am I the only one or do you all have Elton John singing in your head when you read this month's theme? haha! I've had the pleasure of watching him in concert on two different occasions and he is one AHHH-mazing entertainer!!
This may be your first stop on the hop, or you may have hopped over here from the OSAT designer. Either way, in order to view all of the blog participants sharing their wonderful craftiness, click on the next person in line within the list of blogger's posted at the end
I did a little research and discovered that the song was released during the month of March, so I can truly say the song title and lyrics had nothing to do with Valentines Day! Even though I'm continuing to use the "Sure Do Love You" stamp set and "Painted with Love" Designer Series paper, I can honestly say that my creation is not connected to Valentine's Day, either. Yippee, right?!! My creation can easily be used for a couple who have recently announced their engagement, or use it as a wedding card, or the announcement of a pregnancy, or whatever the occasion may be to celebrate...just not Valentine's Day. Teehehe
The colors for the card are pulled from the Painted with Love Designer Series paper...Calypso Coral for the card base, Rich Razzleberry for the matted layer to coordinate with the hearts patterned paper, and Gold Foil paper to compliment the tiny heart foils in the patterned paper.
The "celebrate" die is from the "Celebrate You" Thinlits Dies that you can get for free with a $100 purchase. I am sooo excited that this year's Sale-A-Bration event is offering 2 levels of free reward choices. These dies are worth it...but, truth be told, I love ALL of the dies that Stampin' Up! offers. Sooo worth the money because they never wear out, some dies have multiple uses and features, and they don't take up hardly any room to store! LOVE!!
Coordinating Amazing You Celebration Gift Box
Would you believe me when if I told you that this is the first time making a box using the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies? GASP!! It's true! I have no idea why I have waited this long...sooo easy and super cute! NOTE: The best adhesive to use for assembling the box is our Fast Fuse. That's because it has the strongest hold to keep the sides adhered together no matter what contents you put inside.
The sentiment for this gem comes from another FREE Sale-A-Bration selection...the Amazing You stamp set (free with a $50 product purchase). Plus, it coordinates very well with the "Celebrate You Thinlits Dies". This box measures at 5" x 3" and can fit more than your average small candies...definitely a gift card, some small notecards and envelopes, or whatever smaller sized gift you have in mind to celebrate a special occasion.
Let’s break it down:
- If you spend $50, you get one free level 1 product.
- If you spend $100, you get one free level 2 product, OR, you can choose two level 1 items.
- If you spend $150, you have the option to choose three level 1 items or one level 1 item and one level 2 item.
This new option allows everyone to create a personalized Sale-A-Bration experience! **squeal**
