OSAT Blog Hop — Fall Brings Ghouls, Goblins and Gourds

Hello-Hello stampers and paper crafters!  Welcome to my blog and the October One Stamp At a Time (OSAT) Design Team Blog Hop!  This may be your first stop on the hop, or you may have hopped over here from the previous OSAT designer. Either way, in order to view all of the blog participants sharing their wonderful craftiness, click on the next person in line within the list of blogger's posted at the end.

This month's theme is "Ghouls, Goblins and Gourds".  I didn't have anything to fit the bill for Goblins and Gourds, so I stuck with the cute Ghouls found in the Toil & Trouble Designer Series paper.

There is a definite tint of Highland Heather in those little ghosts, so it made for a good matte behind the designer series paper and an accent to help show off the Labels To Love sentiment.

I'm not one to use one color with any of our neutrals, so I added some of the gorgeous Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon tied with a knot.  If you love ribbon, you are going to absolutely fall in love with this ribbon...OH. MY. GOSH!!  You need to get some...just sayin'!!  Sooo pretty and soft...to tie a knot or bow couldn't be any easier.

You all know how much I love dimension, so I inked the sentiment in Jet Black StaZon and stamped a 2nd time onto Pumpkin Pie to pop up on the original stamped image.  There are more dimensionals behind the main sentiment, too.  I hope you enjoyed this little "Ghoul" card...it came together so easy.

Takeout Treat Box with Bats

Wouldn't you agree that all those cute Ghouls need to be accompanied by a little Takeout Treat box covered with bats?!!  I stayed with the same color combinations of Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather and Basic Black.  The photo doesn't show it, but the bats were punched from the Black Foil paper using the Spooky Bats punch, both found in the Holiday catalog.  The sentiment came from the September Paper Pumpkin kit embossed with Whisper White Embossing powder.  Sooo cute!!
