I'm super excited about my extra project this month because it is showcasing the Festive Farmhouse Suite of products — the Farmhouse Christmas stamp set and coordinating Farmhouse Framelits Dies. All wrapped around a wooden crate die cut from the Wood Crate Framelits. Since I can only show you a sneak peek of the project I created in the actual November Tutorial Bundle PDF, I'm sharing a 2nd project I made especially for this blog hop using most of the same products. It’s different from the project in the Tutorial Bundle as they are exclusive and you won’t see them anywhere else!
My quest to get lots of handmade goodies made for the various Fall and Christmas craft and vendor fairs...treat boxes and packages are always a big hit...especially, when I fill them with chocolate! I'm in LOVE with each pattern found in the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper pack...the various plaid patterns are spot on gorgeous!
The crate measures 3-1/4" wide, 1-3/4" tall, and 1-1/2" deep...just large enough to hold a 2-pack of Oreo cookies. YUM!! It would be perfect to hold other candies, a piece of jewelry, or the teenagers most beloved 'cold hard cash'. LOL!
I'm into vintage and antiques and the Galvanized Buttons are super cute!! Thread some Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine, tie in a bow, and set into place using glue dots. This button works perfectly to hold the box lid closed. Look at those CUTE little bows!! Die cut from Galvanized Metallic paper to coordinate with the button. I would venture to say this little box will be a keeper once the cookies or candy has been devoured. haha!
