I chose to feature the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series paper pack and focus on the color palette designed for that pack. The fun color combination of Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay, and Mango Melody is fitting for birthday cards of any age. I chose the striped pattern because of the line structure that compliments the Whisper White panel embossed with the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder. To make it fun, I tilted the two layers in a non-uniformed fashion going in opposite directions.
The star of the greeting is that stinkin' cute MOUSE! I've caught lots of those little buggars in my garage and would never think to find myself referring to one as "cute"! He's a 2-step process. The 'fur' image is stamped in Early Espresso, then the 'filler' image is inked in Crumb Cake. For a shaded (lighter) effect, stamp the filler image once on scrap paper then save the 2nd rendition stamping to fill in the body of the mouse. The Stitched So Sweetly Dies are ahhh-mazing and a must-have tool for future creations.
The sentiment is inked with Bermuda Bay and popped up with dimensionals...same as the Stitched So Sweetly die garnished with the Metallic Baker's Twine (Sale-A-Bration freebie that is completely sold out). To add a sprinkling of complimentary color, I added some of those sequins in the Combo pack using teeny-tiny dollops of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
