Hello stampers and crafty friends! This month's hop theme is Christmas in July.  Who wouldn't want a tad bit cooler weather; although, my body handles the heat a whole lot better than the frigid cold temps!

These two little gems start off adorning the smaller cardbase and envelopes in the Assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes pack.  They measure 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" when folded and make the cutest little notecards.

The patterned paper comes from the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper pack featuring almost all of the green tones available in the Stampin' Up! color families.  I chose to use Pretty Peacock that was embossed using the Greenery Embossing folder.  I love that there are TWO mini folders in that pack to choose from.  The sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set and was inked with Just Jade and then die cut using the Ornate Frames.

I'm not sure what the name of this fancy fold card is, but I'm going to call it a vertical "Gate fold".  It is really easy to do.  For this one, I stamped the same sentiment in Just Jade, but punched it out using the Story Label Punch...showcasing the versatility of using the same layout, papers and accessories.

The fun thing about this style of card is that you can write a short note or stamp a sentiment in this section before writing a traditional or lengthy message on the inside.

Hello stampers and crafty friends!  Today our amazing Creative Inking designers have created an inspiring group of projects themed as "Summer Fun".  You may be starting from here at my blog, Lori Mueller - Stampin' Dreams, or you may have come here from the very talented Colleen Vassos' blog. There are TWO new animal sets available in the new 2020 Annual catalog that I really wanted...Zany Zebras and Way To Goat, but was limiting myself to only purchase ONE.  ugh!!  They are both fun and whimsical.

 

I decided to grab the Zany Zebras stamp set first, partly because they were on the page previous to the Goats.  haha!  My vision was to create some fun birthday cards, as well as, some really cute thank you cards.

Good morning stampers and paper crafters!  The heat of summer in July is here; and so is our One Stamp At a Time (OSAT) Design Team Blog Hop.  My name is Lori Mueller (stampindreams.com) and I'm excited you've stopped by.  This may be your first stop on the hop, or you may have hopped over here from the previous OSAT designer. Either way, in order to view all of the blog participants sharing their wonderful project(s), click on the next person in line within the list of blogger's posted at the end.  We've got some amazing projects to share with you!

Our July theme is "Pretty in Pink" and the new 2020-2022 In Color, Magenta Madness sure is purrrrdy!  I have to admit that when I first saw the introduction of this color via a Stampin' Up! video, I was like "ewwww", turning up my nose and telling myself 'that pink is too retro for my creative tastes'.  Well, I'm here to tell you that I'm eating my words right about now.  ACK!

The new Flowers for Every Season Designer Series paper has a number of patterns that include Magenta Madness in it.  I love this one with the smaller flower images...made perfect for the die cut from the Hippo & Friends Die set.  The letters from the Playful Alphabet Dies set fit quite nicely in there, too.  To give the "Happy" die cuts some depth, I added a strip of Magenta Madness cardstock to the back using dimensionals.  I had to use Mini Dimensionals that were trimmed to fit for the centers of the "A" and "P".

I chose one of the subtle Bumblebee patterns found in the Flowers for Every Season Designer pack to add a light color that would not clash with the floral pattern.  I love how it sits, kitty-wampus, on the card base front so that there's a bit more white showing at skinny angles versus long rectangles.

The "Birthday" sentiment comes from the Well Said stamp set and was inked with Magenta Madness, stamped onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and trimmed down with Paper Snips before setting in place with dimensionals.  This stamp set is loaded with sentiments!  I mean, seriously, there are 51 different images in this 2-case bundle.  There's definitely something for every occasion within this set. 

To add a little more color to the overall card layout, I added some balloon die cuts (Hippo & Friends Dies) using coordinating colors from the floral pattern — Just Jade, Poppy Parade and Magenta Madness.  They each have a strand of Linen Thread that was gathered with a bow to make it look like a balloon bouquet.  Lastly, adhere some of the clear gems from the Flowers for Every Season Gems pack with Multipurpose Liquid glue.  I just love the fun and whimsical appearance of this card!  Suitable for any age, don't you think?

Happy 4th of July stampers and papercrafters!  I've been dreaming of this project idea for over a week now and couldn't let today go by without finishing and displaying in our home.

The letters were die cut with Foam Adhesive Sheets and the Playful Alphabet Dies with a mix of Real Red, Whisper White and Misty Moonlight.  Because the Foam Adhesive sheets are double-sided sticky, they are planted Stitched Stars die cuts and then centered onto little medallions created with 1/2" cardstock strips and the Simply Scored Tool.  Each medallion was adhered to a piece of Basic Black that was punched with the Story Label punch.

I punched holes in the top of each Story Label punch and adorned each panel with some Misty Moonlight and Whisper White Crinkled Ribbons that were tied off with a Linen Thread bow.  This allowed me to thread some of the Real Red/Stitched White Trim from the Playful Pets Trim pack through the back and create my banner.
