So, to celebrate the new year 2021 coming in, I've created a fun shaker card that starts with a Balmy Blue cardbase. When I was looking through the catalogs for a sentiment or image to work with to create a new year card, I immediately said "That's it!" when I came across the So Sentimental stamp set. To bring in the New Year does "call for confetti"...lots of it, too!
The shaker frame is created with 2 of the larger scalloped rectangle dies from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies set. Since these dies can nest inside each other, you can line them up on your paper and run through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine with one pass. WOOT!
The background patterned papers are part of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper pack. I love that one side are professional photographs converted to paper and the other side is made up of Silver/White foil patterns. LOVE it! The foil side ties in quite nicely with the Gold/Silver/White confetti from the Sequins for Everything pack. Lots of glam and shine on this card. To tie it all together, the sentiment was inked with Night of Navy Classic ink onto a strip of Balmy Blue.
