Hello my stamping friends! Welcome to another series of our PPX Crew Monthly Blog Hop! I'm very happy you have stopped by because our Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are collaborating to create alternate projects using the supplies (plus, additional supplies) that come with our monthly Paper Pumpkin kits. Each month, my Paper Pumpkin subscribers and members of my Stampin' Up! family (Lori's Dream Team) receive exclusive tutorials to beautiful alternate projects created by our PPX Crew. Since we are having so much fun sharing exclusive alternate projects with our subscribers, we are creating a 2nd alternate project that is being shared with everyone! YAY!

This month's blog hop features the refreshing hints of summer Pick Of The Crop (June 2022) kit. This kit was filled with so many elements of summer that one would see, taste and smell during a morning stroll through your local Farmers Market. Even reminded me of my trip to Italy a couple years ago...so fun!
I love that the coordinating colors are noted on the back of the instruction panel that comes with each kit. I had a good number of colors to choose from, but I went with one of my favorites—Soft Succulent for my cardbase. The main focal panel is taken from one of the cardbases that came with the kit that I cut to make a vertical gate fold. I started with a 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 card base that is scored at 2-3/4 and 8-1/4 along the long edge.
The original card base front was cut from the back at 4-1/4—saving the back for another project. Then trim on all sides by 1/16" to give an even 1/4" trim. Take the front panel and cut at 2-5/8 from the bottom. To divide the trimmed card panel, cut at 2-5/8 from the bottom and adhere to each the top and bottom sections of the gatefold sections of the new cardbase. Add the strawberry/blueberry die cut to the bottom section with Dimensionals forming the overlap of the gatefold.
Ink the sentiment with Calypso Coral and stamp onto one of the picket die cuts. Add it to a set of berries and adhere everything to the card front with Dimensionals. For a little country touch, tie some Linen Thread around the stake and tie into a bow. Here's a close-up of the texture, colors and dimension. Oh-so pretty!
