Hello stamping friends!  Welcome to my creative share with the A Paper Pumpkin Thing (APPT) blog hop group!  Our creative crew is a group of Stampin' Up! This month's blog hop is playing with the All The Best (December 2023) Paper Pumpkin kit.  It contains the supplies to make nine stunning cards, three each of three designs and coordinating envelopes.  It comes with an acetate box where you can store your finished cards! You can gift the kit itself or the finished product in the acetate box; either way, it's the perfect last minute gift for any occasion.

But, you know I like to create 'outside the box', so that's what I navigated towards to come up with a super cute treat box that'll be perfect for gifting for any occasion.  Once the supplies are used up to create those cards, I brought in some additional supplies and tools from my own stash to create my fun project.

To start, I chose to go with a Balmy Blue base that measures 4-3/8 x 5-5/8 and scored at 2-7/8 and 3-1/2 along the 5-5/8" stretch.  The floral card base was cut down the center at 4-1/4, then cut down one of the halves to measure 4-1/4 x 2-3/4.  Score at 5/8".  In order to get a nice even Balmy Blue matte to the floral piece, I had to trim along the 'green grass' edge about 1/16"...just a sliver.  This will ensure that the scored sections line up evenly without any gaps when you glue them together.

The Acetate box was cut in half at 4".  You'll probably need a couple passes with the trimmer to cut through the double layers of acetate.  Assemble one of the halves to form a box, but without a lid.  The fun thing is that cutting the Acetate box in half allows you to make two treat boxes to match with the 2 halves of the floral card base.  Pure genius, right?!!

Insert the Balmy Blue base into the Acetate box.  NOTE:  I added a tiny piece of Tear & Tape to each corner of the Balmy Blue cardstock piece so that it stayed in place without slipping out.  Wrap some of the Balmy Blue & White Variegated Ribbon around the box to hold the flap down.  The sentiment was inked with Pebbled Path and stamped onto a Stylish Shape Stitched Circle cut from Basic White, then Clear Embossed it.  I popped it up onto a Gold Foil Scalloped Layer Circle die with a Crushed Curry Stylish Shape Banner Die cut accent.  The kit included a package of beautiful Balmy Blue rhinestones that I sprinkled across the front flap.  Fill with candies, dog/cat treats, trinkets, etc

Hello my stamping friends!  Welcome to another series of our PPX Crew Monthly Blog Hop!  I'm very happy you have stopped by because our Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are collaborating to create alternate projects using the supplies (plus, additional supplies) that come with our monthly Paper Pumpkin kits.  Each month, my Paper Pumpkin subscribers and members of my Stampin' Up! family of demonstrators receive exclusive tutorials to beautiful alternate projects created by our PPX Crew.  Well, now we are creating a 2nd alternate project that is being shared with everyone!

This month's blog hop features the super cute Gifts Galore (November 2021) kit.  'Tis the season for gift giving, so my project features our Acetate Card Boxes that are not just for filling with handmade cards.  They're perfect for filling with a mix of chocolates, too.  I have used all of the supplies that came with my kit, so I'm going to give several images from the stamp set lots of inky love.

My list of treat packages needed is quite long...lots of teachers, co-workers and Stampin' Up! family members to create something special for.  I really love the color palette that is part of the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series paper—Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Cherry Cobbler and Sahara Sand make it easy to create gifts for any gender.

To get the most treat packages with one package of Acetate Card Boxes, I cut them in half and created a new topper for the open end.  The other end of the box will be secured with the tabs and flap enclosure.  Instead of leaving the Evening Evergreen topper all straight and proper, I fancied up the front flap using the scalloped Basic Border Dies.  I then matched it up with the same die cut with a pretty pattern of designer paper.  Fill it with some designer paper wrapped Hershey Nuggets...and, a fun gift card to boot!

The Evening Evergreen layer is adhered to the inside of the Acetate Box, so I added a piece of Designer Series Paper to the outside back of the box using Tear & Tape.  This is to hide the adhesive used to hold the Evening Evergreen piece to the inside of the box.

To hold all the goodies in the box, wrap some Soft Succulent Open Weave ribbon around the flap area and tie in a know.  Stamp the gift image with Cherry Cobbler and Soft Succulent ink, fussy cut and adhere to the front with Dimensionals.  I did ink the ribbon image in the same coordinating colors as the gift package image, fussy cut them and adhered to the top of each gift.  The sentiment was inked with Evening Evergreen, fussy cut and added to the gift arrangement using a mix of Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Hello stampers and crafty friends!  Halloween is just around the corner, so I have a spooky CUTE project to share with you showcasing a fun product available in the July-December Mini catalog...Tombstone Treat Boxes!  But, no tombstone can be complete without the help of a fun stamp set and coordinating dies...it is Frightfully Cute, that's for sure!

These Tombstone Treat Boxes are fantastic to create a little Halloween scene on the front of the box.  My vision was to create the entry to a spooky grave site using the Black Glimmer paper to die cut the fencing.  The lonely tree was die cut from Early Espresso with a single owl die cut from Gray Granite cardstock.  All the dies to create my graveyard come from the Frightful Tags Dies set.

 

A good, spooky headstone has to include some sort of message.  I used the circle die from the Frightful Tags Dies to cut a Flirty Flamingo moon.  To make it look like a 'Blood Moon', I used Daubers to sponge some Pumpkin Pie ink and a smidgin of Tuxedo Black Memento around the edges.

 

 

The Playful Alphabet dies are the perfect size for my headstone.  I added Basic Gray cardstock to a section of Adhesive Sheets and die cut to add a bit of dimension.  So cool!

 

The best part of this is whole project is adding some chocolates/candies!  Before assembling the top box, I used one of the tag dies from the Frightful Tags Dies to die cut an opening so that the recipient could see the beautifully wrapped candies using multiple selections of the Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper.  To keep the candies from falling out, just add a piece of Window Sheet to the back of the opening.

Happy Birthday to America!!  God Bless the Red-White & Blue and to all of our military men and women who serve our country proudly.

Today's card creation is a super fun one as it shows off a couple of different styles and techniques.  The Biggest Wish stamp set and Stitched Stars Dies are the highlighting the main attraction to show off the Red-White & Blue color scheme.

The first technique to display is the fabulous watercoloring with Stampin' Blends and Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol.  One important note...you'll want to purchase and use the 91% Alcohol content product in order to get the desired results of the watercolor effect.  When I used a lower percentage, the colors ran a lot more and ended up bleeding and mixing more than I desired.

Check out this boomer of a fun-fold technique!!  It's been name the "Pinwheel Tower" card design/fold.  This interactive card definitely proclaims a huge WOW factor.  It's super easy to assemble, too.  The Basic White Stitched Stars Die rests upon a pattern of designer paper from the FREE with qualifying party called Pattern Party.  If you'd like to Host an in-person or virtual Stampin' Up! party to earn the 48-sheet pack for free, give me a holler!

To add a little more festivity for the occasion, use the little stars that come out of the die to decorate one of the side panels.

The sentiments from the Biggest Wish set adds on a whole other level of fun!  The 'Birthday' sentiment was inked in Misty Moonlight and stamped off two times before stamping the third time onto the Basic White strip.  This was to make sure the 'happy', inked in Real Red, would stand out from the big bold lettering of the first stamp.

Good morning stampers and crafty friends! I'm so happy you have stopped by.  Welcome to our March Stamp It Blog Hop!  You may be starting from here at my blog, Lori Mueller - Stampin' Dreams, or you may have come here from one of the other Stamp It members blog...either way, make sure to click the blog next in line to move along the hop and not miss all of the great inspiration.

This month's theme is focusing around anything related to Easter.  I decided to work on a home decor piece that's been milling in my head...a functional photo holder featuring the Arrange A Wreath Bundle.

Easter is one of my favorite holidays...started the day with church, followed by a fun Easter egg hunt, then filled our bellies with a homemade meal.  A while ago, I had up this wooden photo holder at a huge discount and my dream was to transform it into a mini 'Sampler' of sorts.

To start my Photo Holder Sampler, I cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock the same size as the original holder.  This is used as an added stability factor and to start adding all the components for the transformation to Easter.

To lighten up the background, I layered on a piece of Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper with Liquid Glue to the Basic Black piece.  The Wreath is made up of a Pear Pizzazz wreath die cut and glued to the background.  The eggs are inked with Poppy Parade, Bumble Bee and Highland Heather, die cut and matched up in pairs before arranging them on the wreath.  They are popped up and set in place with Stampin' Dimensionals.  For a little more Spring, I die cut the smallest flower from Mango Melody, set in place with Liquid Glue and topped with Pearl Basic Jewels.

 

The Easter sentiment was inked using Poppy Parade and Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Write Markers and stamped onto Basic White cardstock.  It was die cut with the Layering Circles Dies and layered onto a scalloped Layering Circle.  For a little softness, I added some Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Ribbon behind the sentiment layer before setting into place with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Lastly, the Sampler piece is attached to the wooden Photo Holder with Velcro, which makes it easy to remove and add the next month holiday/occasion you wish to display.

Good morning stampers and paper crafters!  Welcome to January and our 1st 2021 One Stamp At a Time (OSAT) Design Team Blog Hop.  My name is Lori Mueller (stampindreams.com) and I'm excited you've stopped by.  This may be your first stop on the hop, or you may have hopped over here from the previous OSAT designer. Our January theme is "Say Hello to", so let me introduce you to my Sweet Strawberry card.  This set comes from the new January-June 2021 Mini catalog and has a coordinating Strawberry Builder Punch.  I'm excited to share with you how I how put this beauty together.

The new Berry Delightful Designer Series paper pack is filled with a variety of hand painted berries and vines images that were transformed into the lovely designer crafting paper.  It showcases a large variety of our color palette—displaying soft and bold tones.  The best part is that you can get this paper pack for free (along with a complimentary Berry Blessings stamp set) with a $100 order during Sale-A-Bration.

I chose to pull out the Garden Green, Daffodil Delight and Real Red with a Sahara Sand card base.  The strawberry images and leaves are a 2-step process...one image is the bolder outline of the fruit and leaf.  The 2nd image is the 'filler' color of the fruit.  I used the Garden Green cardstock as the filler for the leaf with the outline image stamped with Shaded Spruce ink.

To help tone down the busy-ness of the strawberry patterned paper, I lined up 3 strips of Garden Green cardstock to reflect the side of a wagon or a bushel basket.  The stamped strawberries are popped up with dimensionals on Daffodil Delight cardstock that was punched with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch.  For some texture, I ran them through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine with the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder.

The lovely sentiment was inked with Garden Green and accented with a 1/8" strip of Real Red cardstock before set into place with Dimensionals.  For a bit of bling, the strawberries were adorned with the smallest Gold Glitter Enamel Dots in the package.  I have to tell you, while creating this card, I got hungry for strawberries!  YUM!
