When you get a new catalog, do you come across a stamp set or bundle that you JUST have to have because you can already envision all the different cards and projects you're going to make?  Well, this super stinkin' cute Have A Hoot stamp set was one of them!

 

 

I had purchased a bundle of toothbrushes from the Dollar Tree that have been waiting for me to tuck them into a Little Treat Box I die cut from Basic Black cardstock.  I added a belly band that color coordinates with the pumpkin...it comes from the Plaid Tidings paper pack, and is on sale through the month of October.  WOOT!!  The Whisper White tag is one of the window die cuts from the Peek-A-Hoot-Die set.  Any of the pumpkin and owl images would work to decorate the tag, but I couldn't resist this one with the owl peeking behind because, well, we all know that kids don't always like to brush their teeth, right?!!  haha! I colored the image using a variety of Stampin' Blends:  Mango Melody Dark, So Saffron Light, Pumpkin Pie Light & Dark, Crumb Cake Light and Soft Suede Dark.  The 'Boo' sentiment is heat embossed with White embossing powder onto a scrap of Basic Black and hand cut to fit.  Everything is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals; and garnished with the yellow stars from the All The Trimmings Embellishments pack.

 

 

This sounds a little contrary, but I tucked in a piece of candy with the toothbrush.  I had to chuckle because I thought the eyes on the little mummy resembled the eyes on the pumpkin.  Too cute!

With that being said, I decided my project covering our theme would include COFFEE!  Teehehe!  I know, I'm such a rebel. LOL!  There's a new stamp set called Press On, that is perfect for the next point I want to make.  This stamp set includes images of coffee cups and coffee beans, buuuut, you can also use the coffee cups for hot tea, too. :)  I also have been aching to use my new Rectangle Tins that will hold a variety of chocolates, note cards, small gifts of jewelry, candies, etc.

 

 

Instead of creating a belly band, I went with decorating the top of the tin.  The closure is very secure, so I was safe knowing the lid will not open on it's own without a little help.  It is Pumpkin Latte season, so I chose to use a Pumpkin Pie cardstock matte to one of the lovely patterns found in the Plaid Tidings 6" x 6" Designer Series paper pack.  The Detailed Trio punch was perfect to match with the rounded corners on the tin.

 

 

The focal arrangement uses a die from the Wreath Builder Dies set cut from Shaded Spruce cardstock.  It fits perfectly around the 2-3/8" Layering Circle die cut from Vellum.  The coffee/tea/hot chocolate cup image was inked in Soft Suede and stamped onto Very Vanilla.  I inked a second time and stamped the center 'sleeve' onto Soft Suede cardstock, but out and glued in place on the original image.  There are no dies or punches that coordinate with the Press On stamp set, so you'll have to 'fussy cut' (hand cut with Paper Snips) the cut image.

 

Add the cup to the center of the wreath section with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The sentiment was stamped onto a Pumpkin Pie strip using Soft Suede ink, glued to the center of the 'sleeve', and garnished with a Linen Thread bow.  Adhere the whole panel to the top of the tin using Stampin' Seal+ adhesive.  Fill the tin with your gift of choice.  I found these wonderful Krispy Kreme Cappuccino Coffee Thins — 4 of them fit beautifully inside.  YUM!

One of my favorite Fall projects is to create tag toppers for yummy chocolates and snacks.  I mean, really, look at that CUTE pumpkin smiling right back at you adorning that tag topper!  I chose to incorporate two new stamp sets found in the August-December 2020 Mini catalog — Everything Essential and Banner Year.  Both sets have a corresponding punch bundled with them, but I chose to use them just for the images.  They compliment each other well using smaller sentiments with single images.

Using the candy wrapper as my color palette, I saw coordinating Stampin' Up! colors — Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Whisper White.  Isn't that funny how we relate all things in the retail world to the Stampin' Up! color families?  LOVE it!  The Granny Apple Green and Plaid Tidings designer paper tag topper was created using a couple of layers of dies from the Celebration Labels Dies set.  The pumpkin image was inked with Cajun Craze, stamped onto Pumpkin Pie and die cut using the Layering Circles Dies.  To accent the shiny candy wrapper, the image is matted with a scalloped Brushed Cardstock layer with 'messy' nest of Gold Linen Thread from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo pack.

The sentiment is one of my favorites...Happy fall, y'all!  Although, I really don't talk that way in real life...only when I'm adding a pun to a conversation or spicing up a greeting with a group of friends.  :)

The fun thing about this style of treat packaging is that your recipient will see the beautiful tag BEFORE they divulge into the chocolate candies, right?!!  Haha!

The Everything Essential stamp set includes images that will cover a number of upcoming holidays...Halloween, Christmas, Fall, and Valentines Day.  It has been paired with an exciting new punch called the Essential Tag Punch.  This punch is so versatile...create tags, as I did with my little Treat Box.  You can also use it to layer a sentiment or use as a background accent.

 

 

Of course, every new catalog includes new patterned papers to help decorate one of our Clear Tiny Treat Boxes — Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper.  I wrapped the box with a strip measuring 1-3/4" x 8-1/2".  I'm in love with the new 1-1/2" Metallic Mesh Ribbon because the first thing I thought of when I opened it up was the appearance of eyeball veins...see how it compares to the chocolate wrapped eyeball?  Too cool!  One would think this mesh is a little stiff, but totally not the case.  I wrapped it around the treat box opposite of the designer paper and gathered at the top using 3/16" Braided Linen Trim.

To add to the 'spook' factor, I clear embossed the image with Jet Black Stazon ink and punched out using the new Essential Tag Punch.  I punched another one from the new Black Glitter Paper to act as an accent to the haunted house image.  The sentiment was clear embossed onto a scrap of Pumpkin Pie cardstock, hand cut and added to the tag with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The 2" x 5" tag base is made up of Crumb Cake cardstock with a layer of In Good Taste designer paper patterns.  I love the idea that the pattern is a photo of a 'real' brick wall and made into designer series paper.  The scalloped design at the top was done by the Delightful Tag Topper punch.

There's a brand new product in the Annual catalog that is super fun — Foam Adhesive Sheets!  I used the Playful Alphabet Dies to cut out the individual letters from Real Red, Misty Moonlight and Whisper White cardstock, then die cut each from the Foam Adhesive Sheets.  Peel off the front and stick the corresponding letter to it.  It creates the coolest 3D embellishment.

I used the Simply Scored Tool to score an 11" x 1/2" strip of cardstock (Real Red, Misty Moonlight and Whisper White) every 1/4".  Then fan-fold at the score marks to create an accordion piece.  Adhere the ends together using Stampin' Seal+, then center them onto the tag spacing evenly vertically.

Peel off the back layer of each foam letter and adhere to a Stitch Stars Die; then adhere to the accordion pin-wheel.  Add a piece of each Misty Moonlight 1/4" Ribbon and Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding to the tag top and finish off with Linen Thread tied into a bow.
