Hello Stampers and friends!! The excitement to share my creation for the Greek Isles Achievers blog hop is here! I love joining the hop with other Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world. This particular group has achieved the prestigious Stampin' Up! Incentive trip to go on the Greek Isles Cruise this coming July! **squeal**
Each month, we will be hopping together to show you ideas and designs using current Stampin' Up!® products from any of the current catalogs. I am native to Nebraska (U.S.), and I would love to help you, inspire you and answer any questions that help spark that creative vibe going through your veins. And, no, you don't have to be creative to stamp!! True statement!
Here is the card that I designed for our hop today!
One of my favorite perks as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is the opportunity to buy from the new upcoming catalogs before the catalogs actually go live for the general public. I have a mix of products from each of the Occasions catalog and the Sale-A-Bration catalog, but this is the first time I've played with the Amazing Life Bundle (Amazing Life stamp set and coordinating Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies)! Beware! This stamp set renders lots of fun coloring aspects...I used Pineapple Punch Stampin' Blends and a touch of Balmy Blue Stampin' Write marker on the cake, but you can definitely have fun with the Aqua Painter and Watercolor Pencils, too!! This particular sentiment in the Amazing Life stamp set has lots of potential for coloring or paper piecing, but I chose to keep it without color so that the focus was on the cake.
I am in LOVE with the new Whisper White Flax Ribbon...it provides me with another way of using it...a subtle embellishment. I cut the ribbon edging to use the loosened strands as "baker's twine" that has more of a rustic appearance. The Gingham check pattern is really popular right now and we are gifted with 5 different colors in the Gingham Gala 6" x 6" designer series paper pack. To give the Balmy Blue a little flare, I trimmed it with a strip of Pineapple Punch cardstock die cut with the Be Mine Stitched Edgelit. Adding this trim is like icing on the cake when paired with the Rectangle Stitched die cut for the sentiment, don't you think?
I am sooo thankful for each and everyone you!
