The Basic White layer was run through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine with the Subtles 3D Embossing Folder (will retire on May 3).  The Flowering Vine Die was cut from Pearlescent Specialty Paper and backed with multiple cuts of the smaller flowers from Gold Foil paper.  Look at that pretty pearl sheen!  For more sparkle, each gold flower center was filled with a Gold Glitter Enamel Dot.  I love that there are 4 different sizes of dots...fit perfect for the different sized flowers.  To show off all the Pearl-y sheen and Gold flowers, I lined the Pearlescent die with a strip of Basic Black cardstock.

The sentiment comes from the Vine Design stamp set and was heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder before die cut with the layering die from the Flowering Vine Die set.  It was set into place with Stampin' Dimensionals.  To recognize the number of years being celebrated, the numbers come from the Playful Alphabet Dies set and were cut from Gold Foil paper.  A very simple, but elegant Anniversary card recognizing 50 years of love together.  Love-love-love!

I am showing off the beautiful Forever Lovely stamp set and the very pretty All My Love Designer Series Paper.  I just love the color tones in this pack with exception to the Soft Suede color...it is not part of the designer paper pack.  I wanted something a tad darker than Crumb Cake so that we could all distinguish the one pattern a bit better.

The Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies are a must have, too!  They are bundled with another stamp set, but I tell ya'...they are going to be LOVED for any project you are dreamin' up!  Oh, and the Flax Ribbon is like a burlap, but sooo much softer in texture.  You need to make sure to get you some of that Flax!

Here is what the card sketch looks like...pretty clean and simple, right?!!  I thought so, too!

It has been a while since I have played with the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, I thought it was perfect for the help I needed.  You see, this large pack of 12" x 12" designer series paper is packed full of coordinating colors to mix-n-match...a definite helpful starting tool for the creative mind that might be in a creative rut.  So, I picked on the colors of Blackberry Bliss, So Saffron, Mint Macaron, and Shimmery White cardstocks.  Oh, so pretty!!

• Next up was choosing what stamp set I needed for the special occasion that I had in mind.  And, look-ey there!  I couldn't pass up the Blended Seasons stamp set and coordinating Stitched Seasons Framelits...especially, since this bundle is only available during the month of August.  Plus, among all of the images (12 to be exact), there is an image of a bell that can be used for any occasion...in my case, I needed it to be wedding bells.  Don't forget, you can purchase this bundle for a 10% savings.

• Now, you may be asking "how did she make that skinny Blackberry Bliss border for the Shimmery White Stitched Frame layer?"  Well, I die cut two of the same size Stitched Framelits from Blackberry Bliss, cut each one in half (1 cut vertical...the 2nd cut horizontal), then adhered each half to fit and border the Shimmery White framelit layer.  I needed the matted layer to be skinnier than the next sized Stitched Framelits die, and this was the easiest way that gave me the result I was needing.  **squeal**

Did you notice the the embossed texture of the So Saffron layer?  OMGosh!!  The amazing Subtle Dynamic Textured Embossing folder left that mark!  Isn't it perfect for this layout?  I also love dimension...especially with a wedding card.  The Stitched Framelits layer is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals, as well as, the wedding bells, sentiment strip (which comes from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set), and the faux Glimmer Enamel Dot (made from a small punched circle using the Gingerbread punch and coloring with Wink of Stella).  Sooo, so pretty!  Creating wedding cards makes me so happy....after all, it is a happy occasion.  :)

Before choosing which stamp set, dies and other goodies, I decided to choose my color combination.  Doesn't this color combination just look yummy?  I wanted to make sure that I was using at least 1-2 new or returning colors, because let's face it...the regular colors that we have had around for awhile...well, have been around for a while.  :)  My main focus is geared towards a young couple who will be exchanging their vows next month.  I wanted something beautiful, intricate, and pretty darned special.

• The patterned background comes from the amazing Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.  WOW!!  There are 8 sheets and each sheet has a TON of these laser-cut patterns...many different designs.  After I cut this one down, I decided to back it with So Saffron and pop it up onto the base using Stampin' Dimensionals.  It measures 3-3/8" x 4-7/8".

• The stamp set is called "Stitched All Around" and it has a pretty cool coordinating set of dies to go along with it.  YEAH!!  The dies are called "Stitched Labels Framelits".  Look at how well the framed die accentuates the laser-cut background...just like a new couple getting married...truly meant to be together.  :)

•  The sentiment was inked with Memento Black ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and die cut using the Layering Ovals Framelits dies set.  I wanted this part to help bring attention to the detailed laser-cut piece....like it really needs it.  HA!

• I absolutely LOVE the delicacy of this card.  I have planned to pass it onto a lovely couple who has invited us to their wedding next month.  This layout could easy be re-created using their wedding colors, too.  Pretty-pretty-pretty!!

And, there you have it!! I topped it off with some Gold Metallic Thread and Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.  A wedding card isn't complete without pearls, right?!!  :)

Good morning stampers and paper crafters!  Welcome to my stop on the One Stamp At a Time (OSAT) Design Team Blog Hop for the month of March!  This months theme is based on "Happily Ever After".  The first thing that comes to mind with this theme is a wedding or a wedding anniversary.  It appears that old man winter has decided to stick around for a while longer...major snow and blizzard storms rolling across the states the last few days.  Now, that is one event that I'm sure will not last to see 'Happily Ever After'...well, I'm hoping, anyway.  LOL!

I have had the Cake Soirée Bundle (stamp set and coordinating Sweet Cake Framelits) ever since the beginning of the Occasions catalog, but haven't ever finished a project using it.  GASP!!  Sooo, this month's theme was a way to force me to play, create and finish this beautiful card.  I'm sure I've shared this before, but I'm a country farm girl at heart, and this stamped and clear embossed cake was screaming to be displayed on some Wood Textured Designer Series Paper.

 

All of the colors are pulled from the flower ensemble nesting on top of the cake (Marina Mist, Berry Burst, Flirty Flamingo).  I love how Stampin' Up! created a coordinating Sweet Soirée Embellishment Kit filled with floral punch outs, velum sprigs, velveteen scalloped trim, and a whole lot more.  The table die was cut from the Champagne Foil Paper offered in the Holiday 2017 catalog....I'm sooo happy that it carried over!  LOVE that foil paper!  The sentiment comes from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and was Silver embossed onto a strip of Berry Burst cardstock.

Coordinating Cake Soirée Gift Tag

Now, you can't attend a wedding without the gift adorned with a coordinating tag, now can you?!!  The intricate tag die comes from the Sweet Cake Framelits dies set and is dressed up using the same papers as the card...Wood Textured Designer Series Paper, Champagne Foil Paper and Berry Burst cardstock.  The single flower is another punch out from the Sweet Soirée Embellishment Kit and was popped up on a Marina Mist Layering Scallop Circle die.

Do you find yourself with lots of leftover strips trimmed from creating card fronts or matting a focal image?  Well, I have just the card for you!  I was looking for an excuse to play with my new Brusho Crystal Colours set (found on page 26 in the Occasions catalog).  But, who needs an excuse, right?!!

 

 

To add balance, I added a Layered Circle Framelits frame to the center of the card.  The triple-cut "Celebrate" from the "Celebrate You Thinlits" dies makes the colors of Brusho vibrant and POP off the card...in a good way, though!  ;) 

 

Look at all that beautiful color!  I love how the Whisper White strips dried...all the curl and warping really adds to the dimension and texture of the card.
