Stamp It Blog Hop — Arrange A Wreath for Easter Photos

Good morning stampers and crafty friends! I'm so happy you have stopped by.  Welcome to our March Stamp It Blog Hop!  You may be starting from here at my blog, Lori Mueller - Stampin' Dreams, or you may have come here from one of the other Stamp It members blog...either way, make sure to click the blog next in line to move along the hop and not miss all of the great inspiration.

EasterHop-Header

This month's theme is focusing around anything related to Easter.  I decided to work on a home decor piece that's been milling in my head...a functional photo holder featuring the Arrange A Wreath Bundle.

StampItHop-Arrange A Wreath Easter Photo-Stampin Dreams Lori Mueller-DSC04286
Easter is one of my favorite holidays...started the day with church, followed by a fun Easter egg hunt, then filled our bellies with a homemade meal.  A while ago, I had up this wooden photo holder at a huge discount and my dream was to transform it into a mini 'Sampler' of sorts.

StampItHop-Arrange A Wreath Easter Photo Holder Black-Stampin Dreams Lori Mueller-DSC04291 StampItHop-Arrange A Wreath Easter Sampler Back-Stampin Dreams Lori Mueller-DSC04293

To start my Photo Holder Sampler, I cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock the same size as the original holder.  This is used as an added stability factor and to start adding all the components for the transformation to Easter.

StampItHop-Arrange A Wreath Easter Sampler Photo Flat-Stampin Dreams Lori Mueller-DSC04289

To lighten up the background, I layered on a piece of Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper with Liquid Glue to the Basic Black piece.  The Wreath is made up of a Pear Pizzazz wreath die cut and glued to the background.  The eggs are inked with Poppy Parade, Bumble Bee and Highland Heather, die cut and matched up in pairs before arranging them on the wreath.  They are popped up and set in place with Stampin' Dimensionals.  For a little more Spring, I die cut the smallest flower from Mango Melody, set in place with Liquid Glue and topped with Pearl Basic Jewels.

StampItHop-Arrange A Wreath Easter Photo Sampler-Stampin Dreams Lori Mueller-DSC04294

The Easter sentiment was inked using Poppy Parade and Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Write Markers and stamped onto Basic White cardstock.  It was die cut with the Layering Circles Dies and layered onto a scalloped Layering Circle.  For a little softness, I added some Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Ribbon behind the sentiment layer before setting into place with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Lastly, the Sampler piece is attached to the wooden Photo Holder with Velcro, which makes it easy to remove and add the next month holiday/occasion you wish to display.

Would you like to re-create this super cute Photo Sampler Holder?  I have posted the entire supply list below and made it easy for you to click on any of the images to add to your shopping cart from my online store.  I would be so very grateful to you and your support for shopping with me.  Check out my Dreamers Loyalty Reward Program...I love what I do and very much appreciate YOU.  So, I pay it back and reward my loyal customers with a FREE shopping spree. Stamp It Blog Hop — Timeless Tulips for Mother's Day

Hello stampers and crafty friends! I'm so happy you are here.  Welcome to our April Stamp It Blog Hop!  You may be starting from here at my blog, Lori Mueller - Stampin' Dreams, or you may have come here from one of the other Stamp It members blog...either way, make sure to click the blog next in line to move along the hop and not miss a beat.

Stamp-it-mothers-day

In just a couple short weeks, we will be celebrating Mother's Day, which is our creative theme this month!  Tulips are going to be the flower of celebration this year because of it's multitude of colors available.  One day, I hope to travel to the Netherlands during the prime season of the Tulip fields.  I've seen lots and lots of beautiful pictures...so dreamy!

StampItHop-MothersDayTulips-Lori-DSC01385
The Last-Chance Products list was released earlier this week, which includes the 2018-2020 In Colors:  Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover, Grapefruit Grove, Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch.  I wanted to create a 'field of tulips in Amersterdam', but on a much smaller scale, of course.  One of my personal crafting struggles is to create simply, using only stamps, paper and ink.  I think I achieved it — sort of — I did use a couple of punches.  The struggle is real!  The Starburst Punch also landed on the Last-Chance List...I'm going to miss this one.  Another goal is to show off all of the retiring In Colors on one card with the help  of ink, cardstock and ribbon.  WOOT!

Would you like to create this super cute Timeless Tulip Mother's Day card?  I have posted the entire supply list below and made it easy for you to click on any of the images to add to your shopping cart from my online store.  I would be so very grateful to you and your support for shopping with me.  Check out my Dreamers Loyalty Reward Program...I love what I do and very much appreciate YOU.  So, I pay it back and reward my loyal customers with a FREE shopping spree. You fill my cup!

For more Mother's Day themed creations that I'm sure will be favorites for you to try, make sure you hop on over to the next Stamp It Group members blogs to see what amazing creations they have to share.  Thank you so much for stopping by....stop back again real soon.

Happy Easter with Mini Curvy Keepsakes Baskets

Allelujah!  He Is Risen!  Happy, happy Easter greetings to you!

FableFriendsEasterBaskets-All-Lori-DSC01316

I was inspired by a couple of pics I found floating in the crafting world to make these adorable little baskets using the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies.  I think the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder really enhances on the 'basket' part of the whole creation.

EasterBaskets-MiniCurvyKeepsakesDies-Lori-DSC01332

I was super sad when the original Curvy Keepsakes Box die had retired, but over the moon excited when the NEW Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box dies appeared in the January-June 2020 MINI catalog!  This die is sooo much fun!

Stamp It Blog Hop — Best Dressed Easter Eggs

Hello stampers and crafty friends! I'm so happy you are here.  Welcome to our March Stamp It Blog Hop!  You may be starting from here at my blog, Lori Mueller - Stampin' Dreams, or you may have come here from one of the other Stamp It members blog...either way, make sure to click the blog next in line to move along the hop and not miss a beat.

No photo description available.

In just a couple short weeks, we will be celebrating Easter, which is our creative theme this month!  YUM!  I'm sooo looking forward to a full feast of homemade foods made from several favorite family recipes.  One favorite 'appetizer' that gets gobbled up fast are deviled eggs.  We never seem to make enough...always the first to be devoured!

StampItHop-BestDressedEasterFront-Lori-DSC01258
This card is a make up of leftover pieces on my counter.  To start, the cardbase is a non-traditional size — 3-7/8" x 11, scored at 5-1/2".  To level things out, I added a piece of Highland Heather cardstock measuring 4-1/4" x 4".  I chose to feature the Best Dressed Designer Series paper pack and focus on the subtle spring patterns found in this pack.  The papers are 6" x 6", which tend to include several patterns with smaller designs, and are not all with flowers and make-up images, which is what I was looking for to help with my make-shift Easter eggs.

StampItHop-BestDressedEasterEggs-Lori-DSC01269

After scouring our catalogs to help me to produce 'easter eggs', I pulled out my trusty Balloon Bouquet punch.  Just cut off the balloon tail, flip them upside down and VOILA—my eggs have been hatched!  **squeal**!!  The short grasses were made using a die found in the Golf Club Dies set with Granny Apple Green cardstock.  The sentiment came from the Timeless Tulips stamp set and was heat embossed with White Embossing Powder onto Gorgeous Grape cardstock.

OSAT Blog Hop — Chick Ewe Out Fable Friends

Good morning, stampers and paper crafters!  Welcome to the One Stamp At a Time (OSAT) Design Team Blog Hop.  My name is Lori Mueller (stampindreams.com) and I'm super excited to have you visiting me today.  This may be your first stop on the hop, or you may have hopped over here from the previous OSAT designer. Either way, in order to view all of the blog participants sharing their wonderful craftiness, click on the next person in line within the list of blogger's posted at the end.  We've got some amazing projects to share with you!

OSATBlogHop-2018Header

This month's theme is "Chick Ewe Out" (or, anything with animals related to Easter).  I chose to bring out one of my favorite stamp sets with cutie-pie critters — Fable Friends.  When I played with this set last year, I had only stamped cards using the adorable little bunny.  So, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to ink up one of the other critter images to create a cute little Easter greeting card.

OSATHop-EasterFableFriends-Lori-DSC01052

I wanted to create with a vintage tone, so I focused on soft subtle colors of greens and yellows with neutral tones of browns and tans.  The Pleased As Punch designer paper (a new Coordination product release) was matted with Soft Suede cardstock and attached to a Whisper White Thick cardbase.  Before I adhered the designer paper, I mixed up some White Embossing Paste with one dribble of So Saffron Reinker to add a bit of texture using the Pattern Party Decorative Masks.  Then 'flicked' some ink using my Dark Soft Suede Stampin' Blend marker.

OSATHop-EasterFableFriendsFlat-Lori-DSC01060

The little squirrel from Fable Friends stamp sentimate was inked with Memento and die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly die.  LOVE that set of dies!  I used a variety of Stampin' Blends colors to bring the squirrel to life delivering Easter wishes (see product list found at the bottom of this post).  The sentiment also comes from the Fable Friends set, inked with Memento and matted with a coordinating Layering Scallop Circle in So Saffron.

OSATHop-EasterFableFriendsLeft-Lori-DSC01054

I love the look of Linen Thread as an accent behind the focal image.  Both the image and sentiment were set into place using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The Iridescent Sequins give it just the right amount of bling that doesn't steal the show.

At this time, you are now ready to hop on over to the next OSAT designers blog.  You won't want to miss traveling on as I know they will have something fun, cute and exciting to share with you.  If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can click your way through the blog list found below.  Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing!

If you are a new visiting crafter looking for a demonstrator to shop with, I would be ecstatic and honored to be your creative coach.

Stamping Around The World — Daisy Lane Flower Fun

AroundTheWorld-CountryBlogHop-Header

Hello, and good morning!  If you've been traveling along the Stamping Around The World Blog Hop, or, if this is your very first stop, I want to thank you so much for stopping to visit me Lori Mueller, Stampin' Dreams. If you like to skip and hop and happen to get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog...you definitely want to make sure you  see all of the amazing creations shared by the design team.

SATWHop-DaisyLaneInColorClubCardLeft-Lori-DSC09971

The style or technique of my card share is called "Monochromatic".  That means that the whole creation uses the same colors or color shades throughout all facets of the design...from cardstock and designer series paper to ink and accessories.  I'm a huge fan of the new 2019-2021 In Color called Rococo Rose.  Super pretty; and I can't wait to start pairing it up with other colors within the other color families.

SATWHop-DaisyLaneInColorClubCardFlat-Lori-DSC09972

I've got a great tip on how to save cardstock when punching LOTS of Daisies with the Daisy punches.  The day I held my Facebook Live presentation showing how to save cardstock and stamp the images using the Stamparatus, my phone overheated, so my video is broken into 2 segments.  You can see them here:

Daisy Lane Facebook Live video (Part 1)

Daisy Lane Facebook Live video (Part 2)

SATWHop-DaisyLane-InColorClubCards-Lori-DSC09965

The whole time I was creating the Rococo Rose In Color card, I was already pushing forward to create the same card using the rest of the new 2019-2021 In Colors.  I made these for my In Color Club members to receive with their particular In Color of the month products.  It's my little gift for being a club member; and it shows them a card layout they can CASE using the new In Color supplies they purchased...cardstock, Designer Series paper, inks and embellishments.  Next months club card will feature a different stamp set using only the 2019-2021 In Colors, so stay tuned.  Better yet, if you would like to join my In Color Club, send me an email and I'll send you the details on how to sign up for club.

Here's a sneak peek of my project for the July Stamping Around The World Tutorial Bundle.  It was my inspiration when designing my card...a match made for a wonderful friend.

Would you like to create this lovely greeting card?   I've listed all of the supplies I used at the bottom of this post; and, it's all set up super easy for you to click on any of the images and add to your shopping cart in my online store.  I would be so very grateful to you and your support for shopping with me.  For more beautiful inspiration, you'll want to make sure you hop on over to the next Stamping Around The World members' blogs to see all of the amazing creations they have to share.  Thank you so much for stopping by....stop back again real soon.

Stamp It Blog Hop — Strong & Beautiful Mother's Day

Hello my stamper friends!  Welcome to our April Stamp It Bog Hop.  It's finally behaving like Spring in our area...the blossoms are full on the trees, the tulips and daffodils are in full bloom and the pollen levels are on a high.  But, soon it is a time that we celebrate all the Mom's in the world, too.  Check out all the love created for Mother's Day...I'm sure your inspiration bucket will fill to the brim.

Stamp-it-mothers-day-blog-hopIf you have been traveling along the Stamp It Group Blog Hop, or, if this is your very first stop, I want to thank you so much for stopping to visit me Lori Mueller, Stampin' Dreams. If you like to skip and hop and happen to get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

StampItHop-StrongBeautifulMomLeft-Lori-DSC09789

One of my favorite things to do is to combine and share the love with my Designer Series paper on one creation.  The background patterned papers are from different paper packs and rests on a matte layer of Highland Heather.  The Old Olive dotted pattern comes from the Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper and the rustic wood layer comes from the Wood Textures Series Paper Stack.  Partnering these patterns allowed me to enhance a Spring-y tone with a vintage-y appeal.  So much like me.  haha!

StampItHop-StrongBeautifulMomFlat-Lori-DSC09791

To tie the sentiment together with the Powder Pink cardstock base (retiring on June 3rd) and Highland Heather matte layer, ink up the sentiment from Strong & Beautiful in Highland Heather and stamp onto a strip of Powder Pink.  Add it to the Early Espresso Pretty Label die using Stampin' Dimensionals.

StampItHop-StrongBeautifulMomClose-Lori-DSC09795

Instead of stamping the flower images from the Needle & Thread stamp set, I decided to fussy-cut (fancy word for hand cutting out the flowers) various flower bundles from the Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper pack.  The rest of the die cuts are a mix of Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz and Vellum cardstock from the Needlepoint Elements Framelits Dies set to fill the 'bouquet'.

COOL TIP WITH TOOLS — There's a fun die within the Needlepoint Elements framelits dies that coordinates with the Pretty Label punch.  The die is shaped just like our Pretty Label punch, but when run through the Big Shot, it leaves a stitched/dotted layer...it does not 'cut' out a layer.  But, this stitched/dotted layer lines up perfectly with the Pretty label punch to allow you to punch out the impression and use as an individual element.  Super cool!

If you are needing any stamping supplies and want to know what supplies I have used to create my note cards, I've listed all of the ingredients at the bottom of this post.  Click on any of the items and you'll be directed to my online store and add any of them to your shopping cart.  I am so grateful to your and your support for choosing me as your Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

For more Mother's Day related inspiration, you'll want to make sure you hop on over to the next Stamp It Group members' blogs to see what amazing creations they have to share.  Thank you so much for stopping by....stop back again real soon.

Creative Inking Blog Hop — Spring Is In The Air with Fable Friends

Happy Spring my stamper friends! Welcome to my blog.  I trust that you are having lots of fun on your travels through the Creative Inking Blog Hop for the month of April!  You may be starting from here at my blog, Lori Mueller - Stampin' Dreams, or you may have come here from the very talented BJ Peters' blog. Please be sure to click the 'Next' button (found below) to move along the Creative Inking blog hop.

CreativeInking-HeaderImage

In fear of jinxing myself, I honestly believe that Spring Is In the Air!  YAYAYAY!!  Which is perfect because that is our blog hop theme this month.  I have mixed emotions about it because that means we will be saying good-bye to some favorite Stampin' Up! products with the new Annual catalog coming out in early June!  Buuut, I'm super excited because that means there is some AHHH-mazing new products just dying to get into our little crafty hands and see what new projects will develop.  **squeal**

CreativeInkingHop-SpringFableFriendsLeft-Lori-DSC09757

With Spring come a whole schlep of rabbits and baby bunnies! I think they are the cutest little animals, but NOT when they snip off my tulips and daffodils before they even get to bloom!  UGH!  There's nothing that keeps them from ruining my love for perennial flowers.  The way I have them lined up, don't they look like they are giving me the 'puppy dog' look and blinking those long lashes reminding me just how cute they are?!!  haha!

CreativeInkingHop-SpringFableFriendsFront-Lori-DSC09752

I used my Stamparatus positioning tool to help me line up these little cuties and used the "hinge-step" technique.  I inked and stamped one bunny, lifted the plate out of the hinge and shifted it down one step.  Inked up the bunny, stamped it and repeated step one.  Super cool!  The bunnies are stamped on Shimmery White cardstock and watercolored with an Aqua Painter using coordinating colors found in the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper pack — Pear Pizzazz, Sahara Sand, Fresh Fig, and Petal Pink.  I added Daffodil Delight for the buttons and Powder Pink for the ears.  Too cute!

CreativeInkingHop-SpringFableFriendsFlat-Lori-DSC09763

The Fable Friends stamp set has a variety of sentiments that are good for any occasion.  This one was inked with Fresh Fig and stamped onto a strip of Petal Pink cardstock.  To add a little detail, I die cut a stitched scallop edge from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits to line the sentiment layer before popping up and setting into place with Stampin' Dimensionals.  To add some balance, I added a little bow made from the Fresh Fig 3/8" Mini Ruffled Ribbon and set in the corner using Mini Glue Dots.

OSAT Blog Hop — April Spring Fling

Hello stampers and paper crafters!  My name is Lori Mueller (stampindreams.com) and I want to welcome you to my blog and the April One Stamp At a Time (OSAT) Design Team Blog Hop!  This may be your first stop on the hop, or you may have hopped over here from the previous OSAT designer. Either way, in order to view all of the blog participants sharing their wonderful craftiness, click on the next person in line within the list of blogger's posted at the end.

OSATBlogHop-2018Header

This month's theme is "Spring Fling", and oh, how I wish Spring would come around and plant itself solid.  But, noooo, we have more cold weather, sleet and snow in the forecast today.  YUCK!

OSATHop-HoldOnToHopeOvalRt-Lori-DSC09639

I've been having lots of fun playing with a stamp set and framelits dies bundle that has not received any attention from me since it arrived in my craft stash.  YIKES!  The Hold on to Hope stamp set was designed by a million dollar achiever, Brandi Cox, and coordinates with the Cross of Hope set of framelit dies.  Several of the images rendered different Spring-like color choices...Mango Melody, Highland Heather, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo.

OSATHop-HoldOnToHopeOvalFlat-Lori-DSC09644

I came across a really cool technique that is new to me called "Floating Frame".  The benefit of this technique is that you can create two different card layouts with the one arrangement.  You can click on the images to get a closer look at how the butterfly and flower images "float" on the stitched Pear Pizzazz oval using Stampin' Dimensionals.

OSATHop-HoldOnToHopeOvalLeft-Lori-DSC09641

To add a some light texture to the arrangement, I embossed a piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Subtle Textured Embossing Folder.  The Grapefruit Grove strip of Gingham Designer Series Paper gives it a vintage/country ambiance.  I just love how this turned out...the butterflies actually look like they are 'floating' around the oval ready to land on one of the beautiful flowers.

I did a Facebook Live online demonstration assembling the 'floating frame' card together.  It is an unedited video, but you can see how the process is done and apply the same steps to the card I am sharing with you today.  If you enjoy online stamp classes, please Like and Follow my business Facebook page so that you'll receive notifications for all my Live events...Sunday Stampin' Dreams.  I'd love to have you join me as I share what I love to do...stamp and papercraft!

At this time, you are now ready to hop on over to the next OSAT designers blog.  You won't want to miss traveling on as I know they will have something fun and exciting to share with you.  If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can click your way through the blog list found below.  Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing!

Stamp It Blog Hop — Easter Greetings with Fable Friends

Hello and welcome to our March Stamp It Bog Hop.  Following our theme to create with Easter in mind, I'm super excited to share with you a cute little card that includes theeee cutest little image from the Fable Friends stamp set. This set just warms my heart and fulfills my vintage creative mindset.

EasterHop-Header

If you have been traveling along the Stamp It Group Blog Hop, or, if this is your very first stop, I want to thank you so much for stopping to visit me Lori Mueller, Stampin' Dreams. If you like to skip and hop and happen to get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

StampItHop-FableFriendsEasterRt-Lori-DSC09561
The background patterned paper comes from a pack that you probably would not connect with Easter...but I did!  Teehehe!  The Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper has patterns that reminded me of cross-stitching and embroidery...a craft that I spent many hours enjoying in my younger years. I really love the Flirty Flamingo pattern matted on Poppy Parade cardstock...it makes it pop in a subtle vintage way.

StampItHop-FableFriendsFlat-Lori-DSC09556

This little bunny is so innocent and cute.  Looks a lot like Peter Rabbit, right?!!  I couldn't wait to color him with a variety of Stampin' Blends...Crumb Cake body, Pool Party jacket, and a touch of Petal Pink in the ears. Awwww, so cute!

StampItHop-FableFriendsEasterFront-Lori-DSC09562

I rested our little friend on a strip of Petal Pink cardstock and prettied it all up with a little bow using the 5/8" Petal Pink/Whisper White Variegated Ribbon.  For a subtle bit of bling, the sentiment is backed with a little Copper Metallic Thread.

For more Easter related inspiration, you'll want to make sure you hop on over to the next Stamp It Group members' blogs to see what amazing creations they have to share.  Thank you so much for stopping by....stop back again real soon.
