The cardbase front is scored at 2-3/4" before adhering the bottom half of the window frame.  The sentiment was inked with Stampin' Write Markers:  Cajun Craze, Night of Navy and Smoky Slate and die cut with the 2-5/8" Layering Circle die.  For balance, I added a 1/2" strip of Night of Navy and some Gold Thread from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack before adding the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals.

So, that brings me to the Daisy Lane stamp set.  I have been having so much fun playing with this set AND the new coordinating Medium Daisy punch that is available in the new Annual catalog.

Did you figure that I would share another project using the new Painted Seasons stamp set AND coordinating Painted Seasons Framelits?  I think that means you are getting to know me.  (grin) I can't seem to get enough of this bundle...because the Painted Seasons Designer Series paper is oh-so gorgeous, too!  I have to tell you, it's been a long time since I've used a bundle as often as I've stamped and created with this one. 

I didn't realize it at first, but this Distinktive flower image is really a "succulent" image.  It's a cool image that is pretty no matter what color you ink and stamp with.  I chose Mango Melody for the bunch of flowers with Granny Apple Green leaves and a Poppy Parade sprig.  The wonderful thing that Stampin' Up! included with the framelits is to add more than one die of several of the images.  What a smart thing to help us save time and mileage on our Big Shot.  Thank you so much!

So, to start off this post, I have a confession to make.  I have never created a project using our LOVELY Gable Boxes!  GASP!!  They come in both Lustrous White and Silver, both of which, I have in my stash, but haven't found the right moment or need to dress one up.  Well, here we go because that is going to change!

I am in the middle of designing several different projects as prototypes for my daughter to give little gifts to her bridesmaids later this year.  Yes, if I don't start early, I'll be freaking out later.  These boxes measure 4" x 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and can hold quite a few small thoughtful items. The Meant To Be stamp set and coordinating Be Mine Stitched Framelits aren't just for creating Valentine gifts and cards.  I have found this bundle to be very versatile and fitting for many occasions.

My new fav product to use in my creations is the Tufted Dynamic Embossing folder and the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  That Stitched Scalloped edging is to 'die' for; and the pillow effect from the Tufted embossing folder is super cute embedded within the scalloped heart die.  I am having so much fun playing with the Lovely Lipstick Foil Paper, too.  It comes in a pack of 6 sheets (3 Grapefruit Grove and 3 Lovely Lipstock) and is one of the free selections in the Sale-A-Bration catalog with a $50 product purchase.

Do you find yourself with lots of leftover strips trimmed from creating card fronts or matting a focal image?  Well, I have just the card for you!  I was looking for an excuse to play with my new Brusho Crystal Colours set (found on page 26 in the Occasions catalog).  But, who needs an excuse, right?!!

 

 

To add balance, I added a Layered Circle Framelits frame to the center of the card.  The triple-cut "Celebrate" from the "Celebrate You Thinlits" dies makes the colors of Brusho vibrant and POP off the card...in a good way, though!  ;) 

 

Look at all that beautiful color!  I love how the Whisper White strips dried...all the curl and warping really adds to the dimension and texture of the card.

This card was created with our oldest daughter, Sydney, in mind.  This last Friday, my husband and our immediate family were honored and blessed to witness her graduation ceremony from Nursing school.  She is strong-willed, dedicated, focused, and blessed with so many wonderfully kind attributes that will benefit her to be an amazing nurse to whomever needs her assistance. Sydney is a clean and simple young lady with a little bit of her Momma's country spunk.  Yep!  I'm that proud Momma!

Creative Tips:

• The majority of the products of this fabulous creation are going to be available for purchase from the upcoming Occasions catalog starting January 3rd.  Unlike the products Suites introduced in the catalog, I did a little mix-n-match of products...just because I like to do that, I guess.  teehehe.  The sentiment comes from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set, but the Designer Series Paper is a specialty paper called "Sweet Soiree".

• Do you see all of the shine outlining the flowers on the designer paper?  YUM!  That was my starting point to selecting a Silver Foil Scallop Circle to showcase the sentiment layer.  Another piece that included some silver was the Vellum vine layered onto the Berry Burst half Stitched Circle.  This comes from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit...and it's loaded with shiny accents and embellishments for adorning your projects.

• To top it off...with more Silver, of course...is the new Silver Baker's Twine!  Wrap it around the scalloped/stitched circle focal layer a couple of times and tie if off into a bow, and you've got yourself a quick, easy and fun Congratulatory card.  Hard to believe this sentiment came from "birthday" stamp set, huh?!!

Sydney's Diploma and Cap and Tassel.  The orange colored tassel is recognition of students earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as an RN (Registered Nurse).
