Mega Ornate Garden with April Online Ordering

Here it is, April with Spring-time temps.  With the current health situation hitting the world, it's hard to decipher if the days are migrating at a turtle's pace, or in some ways continuing the fast pace as always.  The weather is getting nicer, my daffodils are blooming, the grass is growing green and even though I'm spending more hours at home, my list of projects to complete is still staring me in the face.  I know it's a difficult time for everyone, but I know we are all getting along as best we can!

So far our family is staying healthy and safe.  My husband and I haven't spent 24-hour periods together beyond the weekends.  So far, so good!  haha!  Buuut, our daughters are both in the medical field; therefore, are listed as first responders to the needs of patients in hospitals, therapy clinics and long-term facilities.  Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers for safe measures.  I'm a hugger, which is the hardest part of this new way of living for me.  For now, we do 'air hugs' standing 6 feet apart.

I'm sooo thankful to have my happy stamping business!  It's always a great release to help me re-focus my anxious energy—the best (and safest) therapy sessions.  Plus, I get all the joy knowing that I can help others enjoy beautiful colors, projects and a little fun!

Check out a recent card and coordinating gift box I made during my online Facebook Live session yesterday.  It uses the brand new, early released, Ornate Garden Suite.

Ornate Garden Thank You — Color Challenge

OrnateGardenHeader-Image-CM1110290B

Oh my goodness!  Have you seen it?  Stampin' Up! has decided to release a fabulous suite of brand new products—EARLY—called Ornate Garden Suite.  It's a vintage, floral suite with a cheerful spring theme, plus the variety and scope of its beautiful, coordinating products.

OrnateGardenSpecialtyDSP-Image

The lovely floral patterns in the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper remind me of the Victorian era.  If you love sparkle and elegance, you'll find it with the gold foil accented paper, gems, and shimmery ribbon. I'm certain you’ll love what you can do with this versatile collection. My favorite is the ability to pair any of the sentiments to express my gratitude for others in each of my projects.

ColorChallenge-Week1

To inspire my crafty friends across the miles and team members to stamp and create, I posted a Color Challenge.  It included six different colors from Stampin' Up!'s color families:  Terracotta Tile, Grapefruit Grove, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, and Bermuda Bay.  Their project could include 1 color...or all 6 that would include ink, cardstock, designer papers, ribbons and accessories.  Once the project was done, then upload to share with everyone.

OrnateGarden-ColorChallenge1-Lori-DSC01283

Since Terracotta Tile is listed as one of the coordinating colors designed in the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series paper, I wanted to see if I could incorporate 2 other colors from the color challenge — Daffodil Delight and Coastal Cabana.  I just love the Gold Foiled patterns that open themselves up for any color combinations you choose.

NEW VIDEO:  How to use a color challenge with Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper

I did an online stamp class demonstrating the details of my card during a Facebook Live (Lori Dreams Stampin).  Click and Subscribe to my Youtube Channel—I'm working diligently to upload more of my live online classes  If you are needing any supplies I've used, they are all listed at the end of this post.  I am sooo grateful to you for shopping with me.

Creative Inking Blog Hop — Springing Ahead with Flowering Foils

Hello stampers and crafty friends!  Today is blog hop day, which means our amazing Creative Inking designers have created an inspiring group of projects themed as "Spring Ahead".  You may be starting from here at my blog, Lori Mueller - Stampin' Dreams, or you may have come here from the very talented Colleen Vassos' blog. Please be sure to click the 'Next' button (found below) to move along the Creative Inking blog hop to see all the beautiful projects.

CreativeInking-HeaderImage

Can I just start out saying that Sale-A-Bration 2020 has been extraordinary this year!  Do you agree?  One of my favorite selections to choose for free has been the beautiful selection of designer series paper packs.  The latest release, the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper, is jaw dropping gorgeous!  How can you resist adding Rose Gold foiled patterns to any project?!!  These papers were designed to keep in its natural state OR add your own color using a variety of coloring tools (Sponge Brayer, Sponge Daubers, Stampin' Blends, Stampin' Write Markers, Aqua Painters, or Stampin' Blends).  I can't wait to show you what fun I had teaming the Seriously The Best stamp set with the new Flowering Foils Specialty paper.

CreativeInkingHop-FloweringFoilsRt-Lori-DSC01109

I chose two of the four patterns in the pack to work with.  The 'grid' pattern is a nice neutral to tag along with the floral patterns in the rest of the designer paper patterns.  I chose one of the single large flower arrangements and added colors of Mango Melody and Pear Pizzazz using Sponge DaubersNOTE:  this is called the Emboss Resist Technique because the Rose Gold foil will resist taking on the ink.  The weight of the designer paper is suitable to hand cut the flowers...not too flimsy and not too thick to bother your hands if you deal with arthritis.

CreativeInkingHop-FloweringFloralsPasteClose-Lori-DSC01118

Before assembling the focal arrangement, I wanted to add a bit of texture with a 2nd color to help compliment the flower colors.  I've revived my passion for using Embossing Paste.  In particular, I added one drop of Pear Pizzazz Reinker to a small dollop (equivalent to 1/2 teaspoon) of Shimmery Embossing Paste and mixed together using a Palette Knife.  The Silicone Craft Mat is a wonderful tool when you want to mix up a batch of colored embossing paste.  It cleans up nicely afterwards with warm soapy water.  To make my own 'decorative mask' of the Sprig, I made a template using the Sprig Punch and Whisper White Thick Cardstock.  I set the handmade template in place and swiped the newly mixed paste over the template with the Palette Knife.  As soon as the area is filled, lift the handmade template and let dry for about 5 minutes.

CreativeInkingHop-FloweringFlorals-Lori-DSC01104

To separate the patterned paper from the rest of the white space, I added a Mango Melody scallop strip using the Stitched Be Mine dies.  I didn't want the flower image sitting all by itself, so I added a Copper Foil paper layer using the Starburst Punch and a couple of Vellum accents connected to the embossing paste layer using the Sprig Punch.  For added character, I tucked in some Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle before adding the Foil Flower with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The "thanks" sentiment is part of the Seriously The Best stamp set that I inked with Jet Black StazOn, covered with Clear Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool.  I chose to hand cut the sentiment and add it to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals...it added the final touch of character teamed with the focal image.

I love how this all came together so easily!  Thank you, Stampin' Up! for the adding the Flowering Foils paper as one of our FREE selections!  You can see all of the new products HERE.

Now, if you have ever thought about getting more for your money purchasing all of your favorite Stampin' Up! products, I highly recommend that you purchase the "Happy Shopper" Starter Kit and save 20% with each purchase.  There really isn't anything to lose...only lots of product to gain!  But, until you make that leap to join my Stampin' Up! family and fill your starter kit with new January-June Mini products you'll find the ingredients listed below, and I've set it up super easy for you to click on any of the images and add to your shopping cart in my online store.  I would be so very grateful to you and your support for shopping with me.  Check out my Dreamers Loyalty Reward Program...I love what I do and very much appreciation YOU.  So, I pay it back and reward my loyal customers with a FREE shopping spree. Creative Inking Blog Hop — Product Coordination for a Special Someone

Hello stampers and crafty friends!  Welcome-welcome to our amazing Creative Inking Blog Hop!  You may be starting from here at my blog, Lori Mueller - Stampin' Dreams, or you may have come here from the very talented Bj Peters' blog. Please be sure to click the 'Next' button (found below) to move along the Creative Inking blog hop to see all the wonderful creations.

CreativeInking-HeaderImage

I've been having sooo much fun playing with all of the Sale-A-Bration items offered (stamps, dies, papers and accessories.  How 'bout you?!!  They are all super cute and fun!  Especially, the Special Someone stamp set!  Those little critters do not come with an age requirement, so go ahead and include them on Birthday cards of all ages.  What's even more exciting is that Stampin' Up! is offering a set of dies that coordinates with those critters!  So awesome, right?  No need to handcut...simply stamp and die cut!  Perfect timing, because our theme this month is to showcase a new Coordination product that go with the Sale-A-Bration stamps.

CreativeInkingHop-SpecialSomeoneSABCoordFront-Lori-DSC00954

My stash of Thank You cards is pretty slim...and, I was struggling to decide which critter to add to my card, so I paired up all three to help proclaim my heartfelt thanks 3-fold.  I love the subtle patterns of designer paper in the Birthday Bonanza paper pack because I did not want it to steal away from the cuteness of my critters. The various sizes of Layering Circles was designed to compliment the size of each critter...all popped up on a strip of Coastal Cabana accented with a couple strands of baker's twine (part of the Metallic Baker's Twine & Sequins Combo pack...now sold out).

CreativeInkingHop-SpecialSomeoneSABCoord-Flat-LoriDSC00961

Each critter from the Special Someone stamp set is set up as a 2-step stamp process...the fur is a darker shade and the filler of the fur is a lighter color that is stamped off before stamping onto the critter.  For instance, the raccoon is first stamped with Basic Gray and the filler of the fur is Smoky Slate that has been stamped off onto scrap paper before stamping onto the raccoon's fur image. The little flowers were stamped with Basic Gray and filled in with Grapefruit Grove, Coastal Cabana and Mango Melody.  Everything was die cut using the Coordination Special Day Dies and popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.

CreativeInkingHop-SpecialSomeoneSABCoord-Left-Lori-DSC00959

The "thank you" sentiment is part of the Special Someone set inked in Basic Gray for two panels and Coastal Cabana for the middle one.  I love how the sentiments tier down based on the size of the circles.  But, what I love even more is how quickly this card came together...all because of the wonderful coordinating Special Day Dies!  Thank you, Stampin' Up! You can see all of the new products HERE.

Creative Inking Blog Hop — Gratefulness to Gather Together

Hello stampers and crafty friends!  It's November and the weather couldn't be more fall-ish and beautiful.  So, welcome to another episode of our Creative Inking Blog Hop!  You may be starting from here at my blog, Lori Mueller - Stampin' Dreams, or you may have come here from the very talented Colleen Vassos' blog. Please be sure to click the 'Next' button (found below) to move along the Creative Inking blog hop to see all the wonderful creations.

CreativeInking-HeaderImage

Everyday should be a day of gratefulness, but November is the month that recognizes it the most.  I love the Gather Together bundle found in the Holiday catalog, and before the snow starts flying later this week, I wanted to get one more creation made to compliment the nice weather we've been having.

CreativeInking-GratefulGatherTogetherFlat-Lori-DSC00660

This card is loaded with all of Gather Together Suite of products...right down to using each and every coordinating color connected to the Come To Gather Designer Series paper pack.  When I started laying out the different pieces — leaves, squares, ribbon, sentiment layer, etc., I systematically lined up everything in a straight line according to a grid.  Then, I got to thinking...leaves don't fall to the ground in a straight line!  So, the reason for the kitty-whompus arrangement.  LOVE it!

CreativeInking-GratefulGatherTogetherClose-Lori-DSC00659

The larger leaves were die cut from a piece of cardstock that was heavily spritzed with Rubbing Alcohol to help differentiate the embossed sections...plus, the leaves would dry with a little curl and bend.  The smaller leaf die was sponged with Early Espresso ink, then die cut from the cardstock.  The ink on the die transferred to the cardstock, adding a bit of color to the inlaid embossed sections.  Pretty cool, huh?!!

CreativeInking-GratefulGatherTogetherFront-Lori-DSC00652
Since the panel of leaves made the card a bit busy, it was only fair to add a bit of Ribbon and a small Cajun Craze bow to the wooden Tags & Feathers Element.  All nested on the woodgrain pattern from the Come To Gather Designer Series paper.  I can never get enough of woodgrain designer paper, can you?

Now, if you have ever thought about getting more for your money purchasing all of your favorite Stampin' Up! products, I highly recommend that you purchase the Starter Kit and save 20% with each purchase.  There really isn't anything to lose...only lots to gain!  But, until you make that leap to join my Stampin' Up! family and fill your starter kit with new Holiday catalog products you'll find the ingredients listed below, and I've set it up super easy for you to click on any of the images and add to your shopping cart in my online store.  I would be so very grateful to you and your support for shopping with me.  Check out my Dreamers Loyalty Reward Program...I love what I do and very much appreciation YOU.  So, I pay it back and reward my loyal customers with a FREE shopping spree. OSAT Blog Hop — End of Summer Bloom & Grow

Hello-hello stampers and paper crafters!  Welcome to the One Stamp At a Time (OSAT) Design Team Blog Hop.  My name is Lori Mueller (stampindreams.com) and I'm super excited to have you visiting me today.  This may be your first stop on the hop, or you may have hopped over here from the previous OSAT designer. Either way, in order to view all of the blog participants sharing their wonderful craftiness, click on the next person in line within the list of blogger's posted at the end.  We've got some amazing projects to share with you!

OSATBlogHop-2018Header

I can't believe that August has arrived, which means that Summer is getting closer to ending...county fairs have started and families are shuffling around to get school shopping done.  This all fits with our theme this month...End of Summer.

OSATHop-BloomGrowThanks-Rt-Lori-DSC01419

I haven't been very good about using any of the background stamps that I've got among my collection, so I thought I would crack open a case and show it off as my background 'designer paper'.  This Crackle Paint Background stamp was inked with Old Olive and stamped onto a piece of Old Olive cardstock.  They call this stamping technique 'tone-on-tone' stamping.  Granted it hasn't reached the triple-digits in temps where I live, but the crackle easily resembles a drought season where the grounds are thirsty.  To add a little softness to the card, I trimmed off the two edges using the Be Mine Stitched scallop die.

OSATHop-BloomGrowThanks-Left-Lori-DSC01417

The Bloom & Grow stamp set is a another new stamp set that I've pulled out to use and failed.  Not this time! HA!  The floral image was inked with Sahara Sand, stamped onto Whisper White cardstock and die cut using the coordinating die found with the Budding Blooms dies set.  I love the images in this set because they render all different kinds of coloring mediums.  I chose to use my Aqua Painter to add ink color, but you could easily use Watercolor Pencils, Stampin' Blends, or Blender Pens. The photo doesn't reflect the little bit of sparkle of Wink of Stella added the center flower. In real life, it is really pretty.

Bloom & Grow Candy Bulb

These plastic light bulbs are super cute and fun to fill with all sorts of candies.  Shake some jelly beans and you have quite the rattle.  The tag was created using one of the heart dies from the Be Mine Stitched dies.  Stamped the floral image using Sahara Sand ink and topped with the sentiment that is trimmed out using the negative from the Old Olive card panel.  Before stamping the Old Olive inked sentiment, I took my Aqua Painter and 'washed' a light layer of Sahara Sand ink across the Whisper White strip.  The key to making the ink lighter is to squeeze water from the Aqua Painter to the ink pool in the ink pad lid.  My theory is knowing that I can always add ink, but I can't take it away. :)

OSATHop-BloomGrowCandyBulb-Lori-DSC01422

At this time, you are now ready to hop on over to the next OSAT designers blog.  You won't want to miss traveling on as I know they will have something fun and exciting to share with you.  If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can click your way through the blog list found below.  Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing!

Creative Inking Blog Hop — Favorite New Catalog Product Suite

Hello stampers and crafty friends!  I'm so excited to have you join me for the June Creative Inking Blog Hop!  You may be starting from here at my blog, Lori Mueller - Stampin' Dreams, or you may have come here from the very talented Colleen Vassos' blog. Please be sure to click the 'Next' button (found below) to move along the Creative Inking blog hop.

CreativeInking-HeaderImage

This month's hop is all about sharing which of the amazing Suite of products in the beautiful new catalog is our favorite.  YIKES!!  This was SUPER difficult for me...as is any challenge to come up with ONE favorite from a group of products.  It's like asking me to choose which child I gave birth to is my favorite. HA!  Some days I may have had a definite answer for you...but, we won't go there. :)

2019_AC_P036
So, to help make my decision easy (for myself), I decided to go with the Magnolia Lane Suite.  For the most part, it's the Suite of products that I have been playing with the last few days.  Look at all of those amazing creations that are showcased in the catalog (page 36-37)!

CreativeInkingHop-MagnoliaSuiteCard1-Lori-DSC09966

To help get my creative juices flowing, I love to CASE a card pictured in the catalog.  This one uses a mix of the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set, coordinating Magnolia Memory dies, Magnolica Lane Memories & More Card Pack, and Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.  Super cool that most of what I needed for this card was already part of the Suite.

CreativeInkingHop-MagnoliaSuite-Card1Left-Lori-DSC09971

The Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack is loaded with 56 cards, plus sticker sheets!  The Vellum layers are already stamped with the images...I just added some color using the Mossy Meadow Light Stampin' Blends on the leaves.  The large Magnolia image was inked in Memento black, stamped onto Whisper White, colored with Stampin' Blends markers and die cut.  The sentiment tag is a sticker, but it's easy to convert it to be a regular tag...simply pounce the back with an Embossing Buddy.  The powder dust will reduce the tacky-ness and allow for Stampin' Dimensionals to do their job.

CreativeInkingHop-MagnoliaSuite-Card2-Lori-DSC09972

I love that the Magnolia Lane card bases have a nice Silver Foil engraved on the front.  It can be used to 'frame' one of the smaller Memories & More cards.  All I did to this one was add the sticker that trims the pre-stamped sentiment and a few flower stickers to the lower bottom before adding dimensionals and centering over another card I trimmed down from the pack.

CreativeInkingHop-MagnoliaSuiteCard2Flat-Lori-DSC09978

Again, you can make any of the stickers a 'non-sticker' by pouncing the Embossing Buddy all over the stickers backside.  I love the new ribbon pack, too....sooo soft and easy to create bows and knots.  Yummy!

Would you like to create this bundle of cards using the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack and other complimentary products?  You'll find the ingredients listed below, and I've set it up super easy for you to click on any of the images and add to your shopping cart in my online store.  I would be so very grateful to you and your support for shopping with me.  Check out my Dreamers Loyalty Reward Program...I love what I do and very much appreciation YOU.  So, I pay it back and reward my loyal customers with a FREE shopping spree. So with one click you can be on your way to soak in some more inspiration showcasing more Product Suites that are favorites of the rest of the group.  Your next stop on the hop will be with our very creative, Dena Rekow.  I know her projects will be fabulous...she'll have a gorgeous creation (or two) to share with everyone. Click on the 'Next' button and you'll be at your next stop.  Have fun filling your inspiration bucket...don't forget to come back real soon.  :)

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop — Hugs from Shelli Alternatives

Hello Stampers and Papercrafters!  and, welcome to our monthly A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop!!   My name is Lori Mueller and I'm part of a team of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world that have joined together to share alternative projects using supplies from the May Paper Pumpkin kit.PPHop-HeaderGraphicThis month's kit is inspired by Stampin' Up!'s Co-Founder, Shelli Gardner!  **squeal**   I have always admired her stamping style because it is right up my alley...country, vintage, and rustic...all piled into one little box.  The name of this kit is very fitting, too..."Hugs from Shelli" because she is such a sweet, genuine woman.  I was sooo excited to see the stamp set and start playing with the new images.

May2019-PPCoverPic

Every month, the kits include enough supplies to create the designed projects. This month was no different...all subscribers get to create 12 cards (3 each of 4 designs) that come with coordinating envelopes that are lined with designer paper.  The whole ensemble is so down-to-earth using a combination of colors that mix well...Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Pretty Peacock, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.

PPHop-HugsShelliThankYouRt-Lori-DSC09884
I'm pretty sure the floral cardbase is my favorite pattern of the bunch, so I cut it down to help me dress up a 4" x 4" Crumb Cake cardbase.  The original cards are 3-1/2" x 5", so I cut the card base in half at the 3-1/2" score line.  (HINT:  don't toss the back part of the card, we'll use it in a bit).  The floral piece was trimmed from 5" to 3-5/8".

May2019-PPSupplyPic

Look at all of those supplies you get with this kit!  DANG!!  You can't beat a $20 kit in the mail when you get a full set of stamps, ink and two types of adhesives!

PPHop-HugsShelliThankYou-Lori-DSC09882

The ink spot included in the kit is Early Espresso, so I couldn't help myself but add a little Copper Foil trim using the Flourish Thinlits Dies.  To compliment the foil trim, the sentiment was inked with VersaMark onto Old Olive and heat set with the Heat Tool.  I added a fun trick with the sentiment inked with Early Espresso onto Petal Pink cardstock...add the strip to the Old Olive piece and die cut both sentiments together using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  It helps add a little contrast to the sentiment message.

Hugs from Shelli "Hello" Card

Since I cut one of the card bases in half, it left me with the back section of the card (plain Very Vanilla) to design another card.  We'll get a 2-for-1 set of cards with one card base!  YAY!  The floral print is the leftover from cutting down the front part of the cardbase...so, technically, you could say this card is filled with leftovers.

PPHop-HugsShelli-HelloCard-Lori-DSC09874

FUN TIP: Before tossing the negative to any edgelits-type of die cut, check to see if it could fit with another project.  That's what I did with the Copper Foil scalloped flourish die...fits perfect all lined up with the floral print, don't you think?!!

PPHop-HugsShelli-HelloCardFlat-Lori-DSC09880

The sentiment was inked with VersaMark, stamped directly on the Very Vanilla layer, covered with Copper Embossing powder and set with the Heat Tool.  I used one of the new Stitched Nested Labels Dies to cut out the sentiment and then pop it up using Stampin' Dimensionals to set back in place.

To get more inspiration for alternative ideas creating with the March Paper Pumpkin kit, make sure you visit the other A Paper Pumpkin Thing Group members' blogs to see what projects they have created to share with you.  I'll be on your heals to soak in the new ideas and inspiration.

Creative Inking Blog Hop — Goodbye Forever Delightfully Detailed Suite

Hello stampers and crafty friends! Welcome to my blog; and to the Creative Inking Blog Hop for the month of May!

The month of May is a mix of emotions when it comes to changing out the current Annual Stampin' Up! catalog with a new one.  Yes, it is sad to see our favorite products retiring and never available to purchase and play with, buuut, all those feelings can fade away when new goodies are seen in the new beautiful catalog.

DelightfullyDetailedM&MCards-147038G

One of the many products I'm going to miss rests all within the Delightfully Detailed Suite of products found on pages 38-39 in the current 2018-2019 Annual catalog.  I absolutely fell in love with the color combination of Blackberry Bliss, Grapefruit Grove and Mint Macaron...three beautiful colors that make up all the detail in the variety of goodies available in this suite.  The main product is the Detailed With Love stamp set, but the Delightfully Detailed Memories & More Card Pack is filled with 56 fun cards and accessories to help create easy and elegant greeting cards.  Yes, these are the same cards that help a beginning crafter create quick and easy memory books (even novice scrapbookers can enjoy inserting the fun patterns to any full layout).

CreativeInkingHop-DelightfullyDetailedCard1-Lori-DSC09879

Pair up the Memories & More card pack with the Delightfully Detailed Note Cards & Envelopes and you've got the easiest part of crafting greeting cards all within your inky fingers.  Although, if you wanted, you wouldn't need ink!  GASP!  But, it is very true!  All you would need is a variety of adhesives (Snail, Stampin' Dimensionals, and Multipurpose Liquid Glue), a trimmer and Paper Snips, and you'll a fun-filled day of stocking up your stash of greeting cards that hit the Birthday, Thank You, and Thinking of You categories.

CreativeInkingHop-DelightfullyDetailedCard2-Lori-DSC09882

I do love my ink, though.  The ink pads and Stampin' Write markers are my main inks because nothing is more exciting than to get a handmade card in the mail than to first feel the excitement of a hand stamped envelope to deliver it in.  Even the postal carrier will have a smile on their face...I guarantee it!

CreativeInkingHop-DelightfullyDetailedCard3-Lori-DSC09883

The Delightfully Detailed Note Cards are already set up with a background watercolor wash in a variety of colors.  All you have to do is find one of the 56 cards that you like to adorn with stickers, ribbons/bakers twine, and Faceted Dots.  Now, with this card, I did toss in a little extra for this Thank You by die cutting some ovals that layer each other and coordinate with the Blackberry Bliss card base.

CreativeInkingHop-DelightfullyDetailedCard4-Lori-DSC09887

This card is using a regular Whisper White Thick cardstock base cut 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" that I color washed Blackberry Bliss ink onto the front using my Aqua Painter.  The detailed pattern paper is one of the pieces that came with the Memories & More card pack and I couldn't bear to cut it up.  The fun punched corners was done using the Detailed Trio Punch...happy thing because it is NOT on the retiring list of products!  YAY!!  Buuut, it is bundled with the Detailed With Love stamp set.  If you love the variety of images in that set...and, you love the punch...why not save 10% and get them together?!!  See how fun it is to stamp the envelope?!!  I bet that if you received this fun package in your mailbox that you would start opening it while walking back to the house.  Am I right?

04-15-19_header_retiring_list_na

The Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog retirement list and Occasions Catalog retirement list is released.  I'm really going to miss this fun card pack...one of the favorite color combos to create with These items are while supplies last and will not be coming back to the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.

RETIRING PRODUCTS — This card includes the following soon-to-be retired products (to purchase these items while in stock, click on images posted in Supply List located at end of this post):

  • Detailed With Love Stamp Set & Detailed Trio Punch bundle

Creative Inking Blog Hop — Painted Seasons Sale-A-Bration Coordination

Helloooo stamper friends! Welcome to my blog.  I trust that you are having lots of fun on your travels through the Creative Inking Blog Hop for the month of March!  You may be starting from here at my blog, Lori Mueller - Stampin' Dreams, or you may have come here from the very talented BJ Peters' blog. Please be sure to click the 'Next' button (found below) to move along the Creative Inking blog hop.

CreativeInking-HeaderImage

Can you believe there are LESS THAN two weeks to celebrate Sale-A-Bration?!!  We've had a blast dreaming (and stamping) new projects to share with you.  This time we are sharing projects using the Sale-A-Bration Coordination products that compliment the stamp sets.  Let's check out what I have to share with you!!

CreativeInkingHop-SABPaintedSeasonNote-Lori-DSC09536

Did you figure that I would share another project using the new Painted Seasons stamp set AND coordinating Painted Seasons Framelits?  I think that means you are getting to know me.  (grin) I can't seem to get enough of this bundle...because the Painted Seasons Designer Series paper is oh-so gorgeous, too!  I have to tell you, it's been a long time since I've used a bundle as often as I've stamped and created with this one.

CreativeInkingHop-SABPaintedSeasonsFlowers-Lori-DSC09480

I didn't realize it at first, but this Distinktive flower image is really a "succulent" image.  It's a cool image that is pretty no matter what color you ink and stamp with.  I chose Mango Melody for the bunch of flowers with Granny Apple Green leaves and a Poppy Parade sprig.  The wonderful thing that Stampin' Up! included with the framelits is to add more than one die of several of the images.  What a smart thing to help us save time and mileage on our Big Shot.  Thank you so much!

CreativeInkingHop-SABPaintedSeasonsBunch-Lori-DSC09483

I have to tell you that this bundle really lends itself to create many types of projects...greeting cards, 3D treat packages, home decor...all larger projects.  I was needing some quick (little) note cards to send to my customers—so no matter the size, these images are perfect.  The note card measures 2-1/4" x 5-1/8", scored at 2-5/8".  The sentiment comes from the More Than Words stamp set, which was released with the Sale-A-Bration Coordination products.  Until March 31st, you can earn the Painted Seasons stamp set and designer paper free as a bundle with a $100 product purchase.  If you want more of the Painted Seasons paper, you can earn it free with only a $50 product purchase.

If you are needing any stamping supplies and want to know what supplies I have used to create my note cards, I've listed all of the ingredients at the bottom of this post.  Click on any of the items and you'll be directed to my online store and add any of them to your shopping cart.  I am sooo appreciative to you for choosing me as your Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

ThankYou-ABigThankYou

From the bottom of my heart, many, many "thanks" to you for you stopping by to visit me.  I love the visits and wonderful thoughts you share with your comments.  It is always my passion to inspire you with my papercrafting projects.  I hope I have peaked your excitement to get your dreams stamped out onto paper using some of the products that I have shared with you.  I truly live to inspire!! But, if you want to become a "Happy Shopper" and get all of your favorites on your wish list at a discount, you can purchase the Starter Kit and join my Stampin' Up! family...fill your Starter Kit with what YOU want (up to $175 worth of product until March 31st)!  How exciting is that?!!   I am always very, very appreciative of your shopping excursion through my online store, too.
