I came across a really cool technique that is new to me called "Floating Frame". The benefit of this technique is that you can create two different card layouts with the one arrangement. You can click on the images to get a closer look at how the butterfly and flower images "float" on the stitched Pear Pizzazz oval using Stampin' Dimensionals.
To add a some light texture to the arrangement, I embossed a piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Subtle Textured Embossing Folder. The Grapefruit Grove strip of Gingham Designer Series Paper gives it a vintage/country ambiance. I just love how this turned out...the butterflies actually look like they are 'floating' around the oval ready to land on one of the beautiful flowers.
I did a Facebook Live online demonstration assembling the 'floating frame' card together. It is an unedited video, but you can see how the process is done and apply the same steps to the card I am sharing with you today. If you enjoy online stamp classes, please Like and Follow my business Facebook page so that you'll receive notifications for all my Live events...Sunday Stampin' Dreams. I'd love to have you join me as I share what I love to do...stamp and papercraft!
