With my latest creative visions, I have been trying to work hard to create "clean and simple" cards.  My usual style is to have lots of layers, intricate focal images, and topped off with glamorous embellishments.

The fun and whimsical snowflake image comes from the Candy Cane Season stamp set found in the Holiday catalog!  It has been a really long time since I've created my own 'designer paper' using stamps and ink, but this image is just too cute not to ink it up with Versamark and randomly stamp a good chunk of the Balmy Blue cardstock layer.

To add some character to a single layer of cardstock, the focal point is a mix of Layering Ovals and Stitched Ovals Framelit dies.  The sentiment comes from the Labels to Love stamp set inked and stamped with Balmy Blue.  You may notice a new Stampin' Up! product in the mix of the focal image...yeppers!...it is a new embellishment called "Flax Ribbon".  It is super soft and looks like the 5/8" Burlap Ribbon found in the Annual catalog.  LOVE it!!
