That's right!  For starter's, when I first saw all of the beautiful floral patterns in the Perennial Essence pack, I thought "No waaaay" can I cut into those beautiful bouquets.  They are way too pretty to cut...they need to be framed all by themselves in a 12 x 12 picture frame and hung on the wall.  Well, you can do that, too, but I'm going to share with you how gorgeous they are made into a set of notecards.

I have been finding myself steering towards the Notecard and Envelope packs that are offered in the Annual catalog for quite a number of projects.  They are perfect for notecards, customer Thank You's, creating a bundle of all occasions and giving as a gift, and the list goes on.

The notecards measure 3-1/2" x 5", so it made it easy to cut each pattern of the Perennial Essence designer paper into 3" strips. Then, each strip gave me two 4-1/2" pieces, leaving me with a 3" x 3" square.  I decided to cut this in 1/2 so that I had two 1-1/2" x 3" strips that I would flip to show off the pattern on the back side.  There are so many coordinating colors that go with this paper making it easy to choose a coordinating matte layer of cardstock to go with the larger patterned pieces.  With one sheet of designer paper, you can get 8 notecards!  SCORE!!

I love the new Timeless Label Punch because of it's subtle rounded ends and the ability to coordinate it with one of the Layering Ovals dies.  The sentiment comes from the Welcome To The Team stamp set, but you can use a variety of sentiments from your collection of stamp sets to create a bundle of All Occasions cards...get well, sympathy, thinking of you, happy birthday, etc.  I left the remaining 5 notecards sentiment-less so that when needed, I can stamp an appropriate sentiment that goes with the occasion.  Pretty cool, huh?!!
