When I think of New Year's, I always think of the evening to dress up with more glam and sparkle.  I love Basic Black with anything shiny...so rich looking.

 

 

I added an extra layer of Basic Black that is an 1/8" smaller than the base and splattered some Champagne Mist all over the front using the middle sized Water Painters brush.  Just dip the tip into the ink and use the edge of the container to 'flick' the ink.  You can get close for bigger splotches, or pull away for more of a fine dusting of ink.

 

 

The Word Wishes dies are a lovely font and dainty.  I wanted them to pop off the page, so I added some Champagne Foil paper to a piece of Adhesive Foam sheet and die cut the words.  Note to self:  since the words are so dainty, it does take a little bit more patience to release them from the die. :)

To bring more focus to the Word Wishes sentiment, I added a piece of Vellum cardstock that was embossed with the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder.  For a smidgin of color, I die cut the Stitched Stars die from Bumblebee cardstock.  To finish it off with more bling, I scattered some Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels throughout.
