Hello, and good morning! If you've been traveling along the Stamping Around The World Blog Hop, or, if this is your very first stop, I want to thank you so much for stopping to visit me Lori Mueller, Stampin' Dreams. If you like to skip and hop and happen to get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.
Oh my goodness! Isn't this floral image from the To A Wild Rose stamp set absolutely stunning? It has several layers to stamp, which is designed to use several different shades of any particular color family. For mine, I used Rococo Rose, Petal Pink and Blushing Bride...three colors that reflect areas with different lighting or a natural multi-colored rose. :)
I've always wanted to create a 'sampler' frame, but thought I would give it a test run and create a 'sampler' card. My new favorite sets of cutting dies are the Stitched Rectangles. There are 13 different shapes and sizes to choose from, but in this case, my work was cut out for me to use several to fill the space. The Garden Lane Designer Series paper is absolutely gorgeous. Creating a sampler card gives the opportunity to show off more than a couple patterns from the paper pack...they all pair up well with one of the coordinating colors Soft Sea Foam as a matted layer.
To A Wild Rose has a coordinating set of dies, too, called Wild Rose. A couple of the dies cut from Vellum cardstock and Mint Macaron cardstock accent the rose. For added balance, there is a stream of 1/4" Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon...so soft and is very easy to tie knots and bows. I love the various sized sentiments...small, medium and large...and the fonts are eye-catching, too.
Here's a sneak peek of my sneak peek project for the June Stamping Around The World Tutorial Bundle. It was my inspiration when designing my card...a match made for a wonderful friend.
Would you like to create this lovely greeting card?
