Have I mentioned that Fall is my all-time favorite season of the year?  I grew up on a farm and moved to a much bigger city for college.  The older I get, my yearning to be 'home' to help my folks who still live on my old stomping grounds just floods me with memories and heartwarming emotions.  One memory is my Mom always planted a HUGE garden....I mean REALLY big!  Planting a small pumpkin patch was always a must, therefore, when I saw the Fall Fest stamp set in the Holiday Catalog, I knew it would be on my preorder.  As a Demonstrator, I get to order from the new catalogs a month before the products are available to the general public.  WOOT!!  LOVE it!

Follow me down memory lane to the card recipe....

• Cajun Craze card base measures the 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" with the fold across the top.
• Inked up the Kinda Eclectic image in Crushed Curry and stamped onto Very Vanilla.  Added a strip of Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper before matting to a Soft Suede layer.
• The pumpkins come from the Fall Fest stamp set and inked in Tangelo Twist and Mossy Meadows and stamped onto Naturals Ivory cardstock (page 193 of the big catalog).  LOVE that I don't have to 'fussy cut' them out....just die cut them with the Fun Fall Framelits making it easy-peasey.
• Die cut the Bermuda Bay frame using Deco Labels Collection Framelits and add a small piece of Naturals 5/8" Chevron Ribbon trimmed with Linen Thread before popping up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• The larger pumpkin was glued with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the smaller one is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• There's nothing like a framed memory of a pumpkin patch than a Good Greeting inked in Cajun Craze.  I am so in love with the Good Greetings stamp set (FREE with qualifying party!).  I'm certain it is the font, but the multitude of sentiment choices (19 stamps) tops the chart for versatility.

FRAMELITS TIP:  Did you realize that there are 11 different Framelit Collections in the catalog (page 231)?  They are so versatile and can add a layer of character to any creation.  For instance, to make a 'frame', choose one collection, take any 2 framelits...they don't have to be side-by-side...pick a smaller and a larger framelit and position both of them on your piece of cardstock.  Run it through your Big Shot, and you have 2 usable pieces...one will be a frame, the second can be used to matte an image or stamp an image directly onto it.  So much fun!
